A Travelodge experience without the glamour.
Pros:

Leaving. The hotel’s strongest feature is the exit.

Cons:

The area felt rough, the room was so cramped it seemed designed for luggage rather than people, and breakfast was a masterclass in lowering expectations. A deeply depressing little hotel.

Price and location were good. There were working AC.

Cons:

Some of the stuff in the front desk could not communicate in basic english. One person collected keys at 2 PM and payed for the full stay of two rooms and checked the keys. By the time others arrived at 11PM, the key to one room no longer worked, the receptionist from the sister hotel come to open the room door but there were other people in that room. He then went to check what was going on and arrived 20 minutes later saying we have another room at another floor which was a surprise for us. One room needed to change keycards twice during the 5 night stay, and there are no receptionist at the hotel after 10 PM so you need to go to another hotel to get into your room. We needed the invoice for the company but had to provide details for it twice. Breakfast was poor having bread, cheese, ham, fruit salat, kiwis and apples and cornflakes. Rooms are tiny and so are the towels, just one pc per person, no face cloth.

Trovo che sia un ottimo punto di appoggio per vedere i castelli della Loira ad un giusto compromesso qualità prezzo. Bene la pulizia. Per me è stato molto comodo il fatto che la posizione dell' hotel sia vicinissima alla stazione. La zona è anche abbastanza tranquilla. Ottimo il fatto che il bagno (bidet, lavabo e doccia) sia ben separato dal resto della camera dando la giusta privacy agli ospiti. Anche se la stanza si affaccia sulla stazione gli infissi non fanno passare rumori e abbiamo riposato senza alcun problema. Avendo soggiornato nei giorni dell'ondata di calore a giugno (40/45°), abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo l'aria condizionata nella stanza che ci ha dato un po' di ristoro dopo le gite ai castelli e ci ha fatto riposare la notte. Sembra una cosa banale ma non è scontato che in queste zone della Francia gli edifici pubblici e i negozi abbiamo l' aria condizionata.
Le stanze sono piccole ma hanno tutto quello che serve.

Cons:

La reception non è aperta di notte e non c'è il frigo bar nelle camere per cui le medicine, con il calore, rischiavano di andare a male. Il personale della reception è stato molto gentile a metterle nel frigo ma la notte ho dovuto necessariamente metterle in camera perché avevo la necessità di averle a portata di mano .
