I stayed at Copantl Hotel with my family this past weekend, and it was a mixed experience. After a nice dinner at the restaurant, we went to the pool around 9 p.m. to relax, as it was still warm. My wife, sister-in-law, and I were just unwinding, but a security guard approached us, saying it was too late to be by the pool. I asked why, and he responded in a dismissive, daring tone, telling me to just go ahead and complain I was shocked, and my wife was so disappointed that she just wanted to leave. Later, in the lobby, a manager told me it was odd, but the damage was done. What a poor treatment!

Ample room, big bed, nice pool and garden area
Soft mattress, dated everything (furniture, fixtures, lift, wall paint, everything very old!), noisy refurbishment in lobby and elsewhere (they should warn you before booking). Too expensive for the offering.
