I've stayed at Mimi's twice in the last few weeks. It's a great option in the middle of Soho. Even the cheaper, windowless rooms are stylish and have an air of luxury -- which at these prices, in this location, is excellent. BUT. But but but. There are speakers in the corridor that start PLAYING MUSIC at 8.30am. The whole reason you choose a hotel is to sleep. Why would a hotel choose to wake guests by playing bad music right outside their rooms to an empty corridor? When I called the staff, there was a real 'computer says no' response. One guy eventually switched the music off (thank you!) but another colleague kept saying it wasn't possible -- which is ridiculous. Mimi: you could be a great hotel, but you have to prioritise what guests prioritise -- quiet, darkness, a good night's sleep. Fix the muzak issue and I'd love to be a regular guest.
See above. Great hotel -- but they play loud music in the corridors from 8.30am to 9pm WHEN NO ONE IS LISTENING. All it does is disrupt guests' concentration and sleep. Keep the music for the bar and let the guest corridors be QUIET.
Great location. Nice bar
Basement room so small no windows stank of damp
The location is amazing so central and super quiet. The room was small but really comfortable. The staff were great, really helpful and friendly.
very laid back but classy
lux vibe
Location is outstanding
A cute boutique-style hotel in a bustling Soho location with loads of bars, restaurants and entertainment options on its doorstep. The ability to check in from 2 pm was a real bonus too!
There was a slight, unpleasant, damp smell in the corridors (basement level), but my room was totally fine and had no traces of the smell.
Great location and the bedrooms made such good use of space. It was all bed and bathroom - what more could you want?
Breakfast was a little bit limited, which might put some people off, but I was happy with a pain au chocolat and a coffee to be honest.
Great room. Best London location
Air con struggling to overcome the heat
Location
Tiny, no windows
Central location for the theatres, in Soho
Having facility for breakfast
Location is great, well sound-proofed rooms in a busy and exciting area of London. The WiFi was strong, reliable and consistent. The shower was great. Nicely presented public spaces.
The room was very small, and opportunities to improve the functionality of the space to ‘offset the squeeze’ have been missed, making it an uncomfortable stay, overall. The pillows are flat as pancakes, the ceiling fan in the bathroom didn’t work.. so turning it into a hot & humid mess.
Central London location, newly built and massively functional hotel. This was a stop off rather than a holiday, and fitted the bill perfectly as we were going to the theatre (easy walking distance). Great shower, really well insulated and equiped witheverything we needed. We had a small room with no wondow which suited us fine, but rooms with windows are available. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Really good staff.
No draught beer!!! Although the Dog and Duck next door do have it. A buffet breakdast offer would have been perfect, as we had to go out searching, however found the breakfast club just along the road which fitted the bill ( busy so be prepared to wait or get there early)
Super friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location. Very clean. The rooms are small, as advertised, but extremely efficient. It works if you are prepared for the small space. The bed is very big and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was great. It might be tough with a large suitcase or many bags, but it was an excellent location for a short trip, and I really enjoyed the building and neighborhood. I would recommend!
Perfect location for theatre trip
The room was tiny but comfortable
