Go after renovation is complete
Cons:

Renovation wasn't complete so it was messy. No TV remote. Rugs in hallway were not flat. Pool not filled. Elevator not working. Washer dryer room had no overhead lights and were difficult to use. (had to download an app, add more money than I needed, no soap available to buy)
It had the potential to be a cool kitchy place. Wonder what it will be like in 6 months!

Best sleep on Rt 66
Pros:

Ample parking, lady on reception was a diamond, the best sleep we’ve had in route 66.

Cons:

Some areas are tired and need updating.

Broken tiles in the loft need replacing

The extractor fan in room 601 bathroom looked like it could come off the ceiling at any point.

Okay, for one night
Pros:

Good location near the main road, the hotel is fine for one night if you're passing through, well connected and the staff are friendly.

Cons:

It's difficult to find and there's no sign from the road indicating its location.

Overall we loved it and would definitely stay here again.
Pros:

Mostly everything. The whole family had fun. The room was clean, bed was comfy. Couch had a hide a bed in it. The hotel provided everything we needed. Staff was very friendly! We would definitely stay again!

Cons:

We were a little disappointed with what the rooms looked like because they didn’t match the pictures we saw when we booked, but they weren’t awful or anything. Some are still being updated from previous owners I think.

Nice but needs renovation

Pros:

Comfy beds, clean space, nice facilities although we had to switch rooms because of maintenance issues

Cons:

Having to switch rooms, and the price. We were going to book again but the price is to high and the rooms offered are not preferable
