Pros:

great breakfast and food, staff very helpful, only issue was dripping Air con unit was a pain, as a short stay no time to get an engineer in so no fault of the team there

Pros:

Checked in and greeted by staff who were friendly and said happy to recommend local eateries, places to visit etc
We ate lunch there. Food good and served promptly.
Room was clean and comfortable.
Great spot for local family party we were attending.
Also had breakfast there the next day with family. Great food, prompt service, great views.

Having to leave!

Consistency is key to success - Sedlescombe achieves this

This is our “go to place” when we know we are coming to Bexhill we have used this place several times, and each time it’s as good as the last time.

Good apart from issues with room
Pros:

Beautiful peaceful location with lovely views from the room, huge room with a comfortable bed and armchairs, good tea and coffee tray
Excellent cooked Breakfast. No Buffet items out or on the menu. e.g Fruit Cereal or yoghurt, but we were given fruit when we asked for if we could have some
Pleasant staff, Good location for seeing the local sights.

Cons:

The Room itself was lovely apart from a couple of issues. Faulty Air con unit which dripped water when turned on and a hot tap on one of the two wash basins in the bathroom was totally seized & un useable. We reported these on the second morning of our stay , but we got no feedback & the issues were dealt with. On our last night the A/C unit started to drip water about 10.30pm it continued all night, this time the unit wasn't even on. The noise of this, combined with hot weather, led to a very poor nights sleep. I spoke to the manager the next day he was polite & helpful. We received a part refund. overall I'm happy.

Pros:

Great night's sleep in a king room with a Juliette balcony. Big bathroom with a lovely tub.
The food was traditional, and the steak and ale pie was outstanding, the staff friendly and welcoming. It's a shame that the clubhouse closes so early in the summer. A few tweeks and this place would be outstanding.
We will definitely stay again.
*Top class pillows.

Fijn hotel , rustig en uitstekende uitvalsbasis voor de buurt .
Pros:

Rustige ligging , propere kamers , gezellige pub . Uitstekend ontbijt! Ideale ligging met tal van bezienswaardigheden in de buurt , alsook de zee.
