Lift was not working
Stayed at Sedlescombe Golf Hotel in a ‘King’ room as a couple during August on a weekend break.
Rooms are large and well equipped with very large beds. Bathrooms large with his & her sinks and corner bath. No shower, which is the only negative of the whole weekend.
Breakfast & service at the golf club was very good with plenty of food, well prepared and presented. No evening meals offered which meant travelling out to eat (car or taxi required).
All staff were very polite & helpful. Well done guys.
Peaceful location , great views from the restaurant terrace area and above all , really helpful and welcoming staff .

Les derniers kilomètres avant d'arriver à votre hotel, la route était dangereuse (des tournants et impossibilité de faire demi-tour si c'était nécessaire).
Je n'ai pas apprécié le prix d'un restaurant à 3 km.
The size of the room.
The amenities are quite dated, which I don't mined if they work, but the shower was barely working.
The room was pefect for a family of four. The brekfast was lovely. The staff were helpful and friendly.

The place is very nice. Food was delicious.
The shower is nice, but I don't really like the old-style design because it isn't very convenient. You have to hold the shower head while you're showering. And the bed is a bit hard.
Very comfortable accommodation in a peaceful setting within a short walk of the Golf Club and School. Splendid on-site restaurant with friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Well appointed, large room with a large bathroom that included a double sink and large bath tub - no 'stand up' shower. The breakfasts were excellent and although the kitchen shut relatively early in the evening, food choice and quality from the menu was superb. Would definitely return.
There is no stand-up shower in the bathroom, it is a hand-held over the (large) bath. Not the end of the world, but good to know.
Breakfast was very good. Room was clean.
Evening meal finished at 6.00pm. Had delay due to traffic when arriving. Arrived at 7.00pm, no staff around, note on door to say how to get in to room. Could not have an evening meal.
Very nice staff welcomes you in a club next to a small hotel block with spacious and clean room.
The breakfast was amazing, it’s a multiple choice option (not a buffet) between various options like full English, salmon and eggs, pancakes, avocado and eggs, etc.
The place is quiet and there’s plenty of safe parking in the club right next to the hotel block.
The shower was lacking pressure and no curtain/wall in bath tub.

improper information was given about door code access to the building resulting in a huge inconvenience for me and disrupting the reason I was travelling. then one staff member was extremely rude to me in the morning and the others were ambivalent at best.
