Some of the staff seemed friendly however, they all need lessons in safeguarding letting strange people into a hotel who wasnt staying their. I was there with my 3 children and had drunk men trying to get into our room and sleepin outside on first night then second night another person let into the hotel and fire alarm going off shocking!
See above plus hotel was not clean dirty underware in beds and excrament in beds and up the walls
Loved the location, close enough to the town but still a little out to avoid the noise,
Easy check in. Massive family room & beds comfortable. Would stay again for 1 night it was okay for a short stay, and affordable.
Everything was perfect for a night away it was definitely the cleanliness that let it down a little bit , such a shame if it was cleaner it be perfect.
Bathroom floor was dirty, the bottom on the loo was really dusty, all the windowsills where dirty , there was what looked like black mold on the "clean towels" the carpet was covered in bits , tv unit was dusty.
The fire alarm went off and no one came to say it was a false alarm.

The only good thing about the place was the staff
Homeless drunks roaming the halls trying to get in your room at night. Room was covered in cobwebs floor to ceiling. No central heating in the room. The toilet was cleaner than the shower. Fire alarm going off in the night and instead of evacuating security locked us in the reception area and refused to let us leave.

The hotel room had a funny smell to the point it made you and your clothes smell. Also fire alarm going off at around 3am and no one around to organise things so I ended up checking everywhere to make sure there was no fire in the hotel, wasn't my job but no one else came from the hotel.
The alarms was going off in the middle of the night, as someone had entered who wasn't staying there threatening people
the fire alarm went off early hours Sunday morning no staff telling us what to do was up about 40 minutes no fire engines to do safety checks no apology no staff on reception when checking out plus fire alarms started off again at 7 thirty and would like to be reimbursed for my troubles

Very nice service, I often stay at this hotel and I recommend it to everyone, one minus is that the hotel has not been working for two years 🤣

The location is great, central for the tower, winter Gardens and shopping centre.
The fact that the lift was our of order and our room was on the top floor. The fire alarm went off at 3.15am, to start with noone was telling us anything, the guests were having to work things out themselves, I honestly don't think the security man on duty knew what he needed to do and believe the alarm was only silenced as he couldn't reset it.
Central location and lovely staff
It’s a bit run down and the room could do with redecorating but it was clean and warm and great value for money
