Really comfy room in a good spot in town and perfect for what I needed. Would recommend.
Pros:

Good room with a large bathroom and excellent shower (and rolltop bath, but I didn't use it). Really comfy bed and the room had everything I needed for a couple of nights.

Cons:

It seems to be the norm for hotels to all have fancy coffee machines now - which this one also did - but I would have preferred a kettle for an easy cuppa.

Very professional helpfull staff.

No information about the carpark on the websiþe. This may discourage guests booking the hotel.

Magnificent
Pros:

The room was exceptionally luxurious and full of style. Original beams and windows, slipper bath, loads of space. The hotel in general was beautifully and tastefully restored. All the staff we met were exceptionally helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.

Cons:

With all that space when they restored it, surely they could have installed a lift. The stairs are steep and awkward.
