A motel for one night stay. Cheap and old but comfy beds and warm shower.
Pros:

It’s a place where you stay overnight whilst driving through. Comfy bed and warm shower. A Hungry Jack’s and pub meals next door make it quite convenient. Lovely customer service. You can’t beet the price when arriving last minute.

Cons:

As long as your aware it’s an aged and run down motel you’ll be fine. Don’t have high expectations and you’ll enjoy your stay.

Surprise $150 holding fee "in case I trashed the room", the dirty carpet, the missing fly screen on the bathroom window that couldn't close, the black mould in the ceiling in the bathroom, the leaking pipes in the bathroom basin, the broken light on the balcony, I could go on, but I think I have made the point. If I needed the room for longer than 9 hours, I would have left and gone somewhere else

Convenient for our 1 night stopover and good meal. Average accommodation.
Pros:

We booked in to the hotel for dinner and were not expecting too much. The dining room itself is basic with no frills. The staff were friendly and helfpul. The meal was excellent. Ample car parking for our large truck and car with trailer.

Cons:

Staff at check in were pleasant but not friendly. We had to pay for the room, put a $150 hold and provide an additional card to be kept on file. Very confusing at the time and not sure if legal. Noisy neighbours. Also sent an email because I believe I left something behind - no response. Room had damp spots in the carpet and generally average to poor condition.

Don’t stay at this motel.
Pros:

Nothing.

Cons:

Worst motel I have ever stayed at.
Room was too old, too worn out and too over-priced. The room had a pungent odour of disinfectant, masking stale cigarette smoke.
The management confirmed I had left the room in good order, yet it took 13 days to get my $150 bond back.

Staff are super friendly

Cons:

The $150 security deposit. As a regular visitor I choose not to stay the following weekend as still had not received my deposit back(took 10 days to get back) and would have been charged another deposit. Disappointing as a regular guest.

Another poor Queensland place we have stayed in booking through booking.com
Pros:

Restaurant and function room were good. Reception staff helpful.

Cons:

No hairdryer although was told it would be there. No breakfast available, once again to,d would be available. The bathroom floor was filthy and the carpet in the bedroom was wet. Had to wear shoes in the room.

Pros:

All the little extras like the breakfast boxes were a very nice touch
Meals in the pub were excellent, same it took so long(over 1 hr) to get

Cons:

No clear signs to navigate way to reception
Having to wait 20 minutes for someone to come to reception
No guest information about our facilities
