They told us their machine was out of order, and I had a hard time to make them understand the problem……. Until suddenly, like by magic, their machine worked again.

Over charged for room, offered upgrade & charged only because wanted to renovate room I was in, whole hotel being renovated, worn out rooms uncomfortable. Ants in rooms, blamed on me? Was taken by scooter to other hotel for breakfast as renovating breakfast area. Using circular saws out side room and all sorts of construction. Well above local rates rude manager, cash exchange rates way too high. shall I go on?

Highly recommend Maro Hotel-next to Hoan Kiem lake in Hanoi Old Quarter
Pros:

My best stay in Hanoi recently. Huge room (about 45-50 m2) with nice city view. 20 metters from famous hoan kiem lake in the old quarter. Free early check in (at 8:30 AM). Breakfast is included. Best friendly staffs helping to organize trips to Halong bay and Ha giang with very good price.
Thank you again.
