Weekend in Newcastle, good place to stay
Pros:

Our room was lovely, we couldn't hear the main road outside, bed was comfy and shower was nice and hot

Cons:

Breakfast could be better as the breakfast bar wasn't out but understand why as there is only 9 rooms but missed being able to look and choose

The room had everything you want for an overnight

Cons:

Not much...perhaps bed and pillows a little hard but that's very subjective and possibly not fair to comment on.
Room slighty stuffy as not much window opening but as on a busy road that's understandable

The room was spotless and the shower was great powerful with hot water each time

Cons:

The heater in the room didn’t work - even though, when we told staff, we were told it was on a timer - it never came on. The weather was particularly cold that weekend and a cosy room would have been appreciated

Perfect location for our visit.
Pros:

Location was within walking distance of local family. Staff are busy but always pleasant helpful and professional.

Cons:

The building is showing its age but to be fair there were signs of upgrades in place: e.g. smell of fresh paint in some areas.
