Great stay. Very central. Breakfast provided in the room, self check in. They provided very nice gluten free options at short notice which was appreciated. Lovely pubs and restaurants nearby. I would stay here again
Nice position, friendly cleaning staff
Not aware that it had become self check-in and we felt uncomfortable being alone there.
Not aware of self check-in in when we booked, and had we known this we would not have booked here
The location was amazing.
beds were comfortable
self-checkin not for me
too noisy a location
shower too small
not value for money
lovely breakfast hamper and great position in the town
Loved that we had a fridge. Breakfast hamper was great.
Top Lage, viele Restaurants und Bars und trotzdem nicht laut.
Wir waren rund un zufrieden
The cleaning staff were superb! Very helpful to us while we had to wait.
Location very good; room was clean & bed comfortable. Hamper breakfast perfect as we had to be away early. Fan in the room was great (& quiet)
Room quite small & hot, but weather warm so……
Don’t like foam pillows.
All minor “gripes”
Room and beds were clean and comfortable, breakfast options were provided in the room, good location for us, some nice bars and restaurants around. Beautiful beach near by. Decent enough shower and clean towels and bedding.
The room could use some blinds or dark curtains as the sun shone in early morning.
The lock on the door was a bit dodgy, could do with a replacement. It did make me feel a bit unsafe with the place not being staffed..
The seagulls plague the whole of Berwick, and we didn't sleep much because of them squawking all night, but this isn't a hotel issue.
Room was clean, instructions provided on how to get access.
Hotel appeared to be totally unstaffed and quite eerie - instructions provided by SMS (combination locks), it had some communal areas (inc a small bar) on entrance but appeared to be totally unused, blocked off and everything was unlit. Some food provided in the room for breakfast in the morning and again no staff present upon departure.
Lication was exceptional, free parking close by and central to good restaurants
Not much as the price suited the situation
Unmanned entry but clear instructions on how to enter hotel and to access room keys were sent on day of visit.
Very clean room , comfortable beds , and great en-suite shower.
fridge in room and a plentiful breakfast hamper already in place to enjoy in the morning or a wee sneaky snack at night .
Consisted of granola, fresh milk, fresh orange juice , yoghurts , croissants , jams , biscuits, chocolate bars , satsumas and selection of hot drink sachet which made a Nice change from the usual fry up .
Quiet part of town yet only 2 minutes walk up to main street and equally short distance to the walls for a great walk .
Wouldn`t hesitate to stay again
Main things to like were the price and location. The mini breakfast they made available in our fridge was a nice touch.
Getting into the shower was a tight squeeze.
Awful place. Self check in was the only option. Never saw a member of staff during our stay. The place was a real dump so there is nothing to like.
Everything.
