The property was absolutely beautiful & the staff were just so welcoming & helpful. We had such a great time.
Pros:

This property was absolutely amazing, so impressive.

Cons:

There was only a news channel for the UK on the TV, that was the only thing we mentioned to the front desk.

Wunderschönes Hotel, Preis-Leistungsverhältnis im Grenzbereich.
Pros:

Vom Stil und der Architektur her sehr schönes, beeindruckenes, fast majestätisches, sehr gepflegtes Hotel - klassisches altes Granhotel (welches dieses Jahr 100 Jahre alt wird), aber sehr schön renoviert und mit viel Geschmack modernisiert. Herrlicher, riesiger Innenhof, Tolle Atmosphäre - die Aura von Ava Gardner, Ernest Hemingway und Co. ist noch spürbar. Einfahrt eingebettet in einen beeindruckenden exotischen Park. Herrliches abendliches Flair auf der Terrasse auf der Meerseite. Lage gut - man kann die Innenstadt gut in 20, max. 30min erreichen.

Cons:

Abendessen im Hotel gut, aber auch recht teuer. Für ein Hotel dieser Klasse und diese Preise hätte ich ein noch höheres Level erwartet. Wenn man kleinlich sein will: der Weisswein war zu warm und das Frühstücksbuffet verdient sicher nicht 5 Sterne. Der Poolbereich könnte gepflegter sein, etliche Sonnenschirme waren kaputt und konnten nicht komplett aufgespannt werden. Der Blick aufs Meer und die Atmosphäre im Poolbereich wird etwas durch die Bausünden (vermutlich der 70er Jahre) nebenan geschmälert.
