I won’t let the bedding mishap stop me from staying g here in the future

Convenient location. The staff, especially the valet staff were friendly and amazing

Cons:

I noticed that the bath towels had a strange smell…almost smelled like coffee.
I’m not sure how often the comforters are washed, but noticed a dried blood stain and some a couple splash marks on the bed sheets.
The splash marks on the sheets may be old stains, but the blood on the comforter did not look it had been washed at all. I should have brought this up with the staff at the desk, but I got distracted and completely forgot to speak with the employees after receiving my vehicle from the valet.

Struttura alberghiera con grandi potenzialità, ma gestita in modo inefficiente.
Pros:

Hotel moto bello ed in ottima posizione. Camera confortevole.

Cons:

I servizi sono stati carenti. Nonostante avessimo richiesto in mattinata che la camera fosse riordinata al nostro rientro in serata, non è stato fatto. Il servizio di colazione l’ultimo giorno non è stato addebitato, probabilmente per via della mancanza di personale.

The gentlemen that helped me check in early in the morning and granted early access to my room. He also took care of our bags and kept them secure while we went into the city.

Cons:

Housekeeping didn't actually clean anything during our stay. I had requested housekeeping 2 nights in a row and it was either too late, or nobody came to our request. I had requested towels to be switched out on top of housekeeping and they just left a stack of towels on the tv stand and didn't take away the dirty towels left in the hallway. On top of that, the person that came in, knocked over our souvenirs and left them scattered on the ground. When I requested housekeeping and a refreshed bed, the only thing that they did was pull the blanket back over the pillows, something we could've done in 2 seconds. I took this issue to the front desk and they claim that I should've specifically "asked for the bed to be cleaned", "counters to be wiped" and "vacuum the room". This is not standard turndown service and this should've been disclosed that everything had to be specifically requested. One front desk worker said housekeepers leave at 4pm, but when requesting housekeeping for the 3rd time in person, another worker granted our request as "the last housekeeper leaves at 11pm". There seems to be a lack of communication and clarification on housekeeping services.

generally it was fine, we really like the design of the room and the view. Also, it was clean and minimalistic.
Pros:

Location, design, beds, view, and ceiling-mounted shower head 😁

Cons:

Nothing complimentary (like coffee; for this price, we could have stayed at a nearby hotel with that, plus breakfast, evening marshmallows, etc.), and no welcoming atmosphere; we felt like we were in an apartment complex. No body lotion, lol. Also, we reserved two separate rooms for our parents and us. I expected us to be closer together, not living on different floors...

Nice room, great location.
Pros:

Location was great, price was fair, room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was very good and the girl who ran the breakfast area was very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Front desk wasn't very friendly. No lock on bathroom door.

Modern Portland Hotel
Pros:

Centrally located hotel near the waterfront in Portland. We were able to walk to the Pearl District for dinners. The room was clean and comfortable. The sink was outside the bathroom, so that made for easier mornings. We had no issues with noise. Service with the valet service was quick and efficient. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet and small coffee shop for an additional price. I would definitely stay here again.
