5 Star Experience
Pros:

A four day experience that was amazing!!! I had reached out to the GM for assistance on room location and a special occasion celebration, however they were out of town.

The GM that was covering temporarily was from out of state and a different hotel. After the experience we had you would have thought this was HIS property.

Benjamin Cann went above and beyond in all aspects in assisting me. Numerous detailed emails and follow ups to ensure our experience was spectacular.

Upgraded to top floor room with a fantastic view of Mt Hood and such great surprise with my wife’s favorite bottle of Oregon wine from the Willamette Valley on ice waiting for us when we arrived! He even went out on his own to find this particular bottle of wine.

All I can say is wow!

Could be better!
Pros:

The location is very good, close to the shopping district. The hotel has a modern feel

Cons:

We have stayed here 4 times before. The vast majority of the rooms are large and spacious. This time we were allocated a room next to the elevator on the top floor which is very small and not suitable for two people sharing. The washbasin is in the centre of the bedroom because of space constraints, the bathroom wall and door is glass which makes it impossible to turn on the light at night without illuminating the whole bedroom and waking the other person, the glass wall affords no privacy in the bathroom.
At breakfast the cooked option was no longer available. We asked the disinterested helper why, and she replied "we have stopped offering it because the toaster is broken". I did ask her how difficult was it to buy a toaster these days to which she shrugged. The remainder of the breakfast was uninspiring, like the server.
