The room is spacious. The staff are professional. Has variety of breakfast selection.

Cons:

WiFi was very slow and often cut out. Had to use my hotspot. Television set was older and didn't allow me to use my Netflix account that had ads. Channel lineup was not what I'm used to when I've stayed at other Marriott hotels in the area.

Excellent stay at Fairfield San Diego North/San Marcos
Pros:

We had a great stay. Very impressed with this property and its team:
-Clean, and comfortable.
-Very friendly and accommodating front desk staff.
-Housekeeping worked hard and was very nice.
-One of our rooms was upgraded.
-Allowed us to have a later checkout.
-Breakfast was included.
-100% Free parking. (Not common these days.)
-About 5 EV chargers I think, and most were available. Best of all, with their code, I charged overnight to 90% - and it was free!

No housekeeping
Pros:

The room itself was clean which we appreciated, however, we stayed 3 nights and were told we would get housekeeping every other day. On the day we were supposed to get housekeeping, a housekeeper knocked on our door and asked if we needed anything which I thought was odd since it was the day they were supposed to clean the room. I asked for a couple of towels and let her know we would still like housekeeping which she acknowledged and agreed they would come back in the afternoon. Unfortunately we didn’t end up getting housekeeping once during our stay which was very disappointing. We had to call the front desk for additional towels and toilet paper. We were not happy to return to our room late at night after a long day to find the beds still not made and a pile of dirty towels still on the floor.
