Residence Inn by Marriott Jersey City

We only stayed for one night, but it was perfectly located and had everything we needed for a very short stay. This was our first time staying in NJ while visiting NYC and we will definitely do it again- it was much more convenient than expected. The location was great, the amenities were good and everything was clean, as you would expect from Marriott.

The location of the hotel is great. Just steps to the PATH train with access to NYC, the location cannot be beat. There was a two day parade or party that was going on outside of the hotel, which made access tricky. Our room was on the opposite side from the party, so noise was not a big issue. Occasionally you could hear the traffic, but that did not interfere with our sleep. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
The room was small for a Residence Inn, but that's now shocking considering the location. There was barely enough room for the bed, the pullout sofa and to maneuver through the room. The pullout sofa was not made, there was only one sheet for the pullout in the closet (no fitted sheet was included) and when taking the cushions off the sofa to pull the bed out there were q-tips, clearly showing that the sofa had not been properly cleaned.
The biggest issue that I had was that the staff was less than helpful. Upon arriving I asked if there was better lot to park in than the public lot that I was in a few blocks away. I was told that "we never tell people to park there, we don't know anything about that". I acknowledged that, but I was never offered directions to where they typically have guests park or any help with parking in the area.

Hotel is directly off the PATH line so extremely easy to get to the city. Modern, clean, spacious rooms, good breakfast. Alex at the front was wonderful and helped us with a smile. She made our stay amazing.

Great location I really enjoyed the breakfast selection the variety of options for toppings and sauce. The staff was very friendly holes were very clean. This is my first time back home in 21 years so this was very exciting and very pleasing to know that this property is there and is running very well. Parking was easy to find and I do love the valley option. Overall, great day I will be back soon.

The team at the Residence Inn Marriott in Jersey City did a wonderful job helping hosting an event that we had at their beautiful venue. The bartender was Very attentive and helpful. We had a great networking event and the venue had a lovely view of the area.

I attended an event at the Bar in the third floor and everything was wonderful! The Staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was a perfect place to congregate and there was plenty of space making it comfortable to host a large group of people that can hear each other. It was clean and beautiful. The prices for the drinks were also very reasonable and the bartender was amazing! I will very definitely revisit. Thank you for hosting us and I will be back!

My networking group, Hudson Connections, hosted our quarterly meet up here and it was great. Beautiful space, love the big windows. The service was excellent, friendly, helpful. Our guests loved the atmosphere. Highly recommend. We brought in food catered from a local JC artisanal bakery: The Tiny Topiary. Very easy set up and clean up.

The hotel itself is very nice. The entry way is a bit challenging as there is no parking for loading/unloading and its RIGHT on the street. If you miss the ramp, which is easy to miss because the sign is for another building, you're stuck lugging your bags up the concrete stairs. Once inside its very nice and I love having the small kitchenette. They even offer grocery and laundry pickup and delivery.

I loved the convenient location of the Sprove market downstairs. Easily pop in for breakfast and essentials and its less than 50% of the hotel prices.
