One of the best hotels we have ever stayed in!
Pros:

This was a truly outstanding hotel. We will never forget the beautiful breakfasts on the terrace overlooking a beautiful garden and stunning mountains eating lovely pastries and freshly cut fruit. We had an incredible three course meal on the terrace one night watching the sunset.
Every single member of staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and to do their best to encourage us in our faltering French, even though they probably spoke fantastic English! They did everything they could to be really helpful. The room was air-conditioned and very comfortable.

Besançon is a beautiful town which had very few tourists despite its beauty and the historical nature of the town with many buildings dating back to Roman or mediaeval times.

Cons:

Almost nothing! The only thing that might improve it is not charging €35 to use the spa facility as it meant that almost nobody used it and it was shame to let it go empty.

Smuk beliggenhed og meget centralt.
Fint med indhegnet parkering og mulighed for el-ladning.

Cons:

Vi betalte for en opgradering til Suite Duplex for at få Air conditioning. Men Air conditioning kølede ikke 1. Salens soveområde ned så vi sov i mindst 30 grader.
Spa’en var lukket pga. vedligeholdelse.
Og der var virkelig mange hvepse ved morgenmaden.

Schönes Hotel in sehr schöner Stadt
Pros:

Sehr schönes Hotel in Besançon. Leider haben die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage und es kann sehr warm werden. Das Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber nicht allzu umfangreich. Das Personal war toll.

Die Lage ist großartig, direkt über der Stadt. Sehr ansprechendes Ambiente in einem ehemaligen Kloster. Tolles Haus.

Cons:

Die Klimaanlage kühlt nur den unteren Teil des Zimmers. Oben bei den Betten ist es zum Schlafen, im heißen Sommer, definitiv zu warm.

Un séjour chaudement agréable!
Pros:

Bel établissement bien situé. Malheureusement en pleine canicule, notre chambre n'étant pas climatisée nous avons souffert de la chaleur. Cependant je dois souligner les efforts faits par l'établissement pour palier à cet inconvénient: surclassement dans une chambre moins exposée et présence d'un ventilateur sur pied dans la chambre. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable ainsi que la sdb.
Le personnel est extrêmement attentif et serviable.

Cons:

L'absence de climatisation.
Chambre un peu surchargée en mobilier et décoration ( mais c'est une question de goût personnel!)

Lovely hotel
Pros:

Great location and easy parking in the grounds. It was quite hot while we were there and there was no aircon in the room (we knew that) and the hotel had a fan on in our room when we arrived and we could open the windows fully.

Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück, super Lage in 5 min. zu Fuss in der Altstadt. Wir haben ein upgrade in die klimatisierte Suite gemacht. War wunderbar. Personal sehr freundlich und unser kleiner Hund war auch willkommen. Parkplatz im Areal. Wir kommen wieder.
