Very friendly staff, great location and space for the money.
Pros:

The shower/bathroom was very nice and the space was big enough for what I needed. The staff were amazing and extremely helpful and kind. The breakfast was very nice and the location was great. They looked after our luggage on the last day and that was very nice of them.

Cons:

Lack of airconditioning :/ it was extremely warm during our stay and the small electric fan provided was pumping hot air around, even with both windows open and the blinds closed, it was very warm.

Competent European-style 3-star hotel
Pros:

- Location: while it may seem a bit far from city centres, there are multiple stations near to the hotel to the U-Bahn & S-Bahn lines, making it very convient to go to either Duisburg & Dusseldorf
- Room as a whole: a fairly consistent 3-star worthy room. You wouldn't expect it when seeing the neighborhood and hotel building, which look just plain residential.
- Friendly staff and very helpful notices all around!
- Good breakfast for no extra fee (fresh fruits, cereal, croissants, bread, cold cuts... All well-sourced)

Cons:

- Temperature: Stayed in a bit of a heatwave (which will get more common with time), and NO A/C. Only a small semi-portable fan. Nights were a bit difficult even with both windows open. Also, no fridge is a bit of a shame, especially given the heat (the provided water bottle was already hot).
- Noise: while the neighborhood is more or less quiet, you can hear quite easily anyone going out of the elevator and in neighboring rooms. Not excessive, but it's there.
- Price hikes: I feel like a €100/night mark for a single room in a decent 3-star hotel is excessive. I booked here somewhat late to go to Dokomi in Dusseldorf, which may explain the price, but still. Be careful of price hikes for events!

Sehr schönes, günstiges Hotel
Pros:

Zentral gelegen, trotzdem relativ ruhig (normal Stadt eben). Parkplatz auf der Straße sofort gefunden. Schönes Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal. Spätanreise war problemlos möglich. Es gibt eine sehr, sehr große Auswahl an Tee zum Frühstück.

Cons:

Der Frühstücksraum ist etwas klein.
