LOCAL TAX LAW.
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%
To be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won't be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
This additional fee (IVA) is not included in the hotel rates and must be paid seperately.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Perfect choice.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a suite. Comfortable and well organised. Lots of thought put into convenience of guests. Recently renovated. Even a heated towel rail. Reception staff friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Upstairs bar quite nice. Good location.

Goede locatie dichtbij Plaza de Armas en restaurants.

Cons:

De badkamerventilatie maakte veel lawaai. Het avond- en ontbijtpersoneel zou vriendelijker mogen zijn. Daarnaast begrijpen wij niet waarom dit een 5-sterrenhotel is. Het hotel komt gierig over, tijdens het inchecken werd direct benadrukt dat voor alles in de kamer betaald moest worden. Er was niet eens gratis drinkwater beschikbaar.

Pros:

La estetica del hotel, el dormitorio, el baño, camas cómodas. La ubicación en el centro fue espectacular, considerando que el viaje fue por trabajo.

Cons:

El desayuno podría ser más variado. Si bien el personal fue muy amable, la experiencia no fue tan buena en el bar del 8 piso. Quizás por la hora, finalmente me fui sin ser atendida.
