Pros:

Very tidy...room was great. Fantastic balcony which would have had great view if weather was better.

Cons:

If you are into a package resort on the beach this is probably your place.

Personally I found it nice but totally souless, located away from more interesting part of town surrounded by condos, gyms, retirement homes and beauty clinics. If you are after a bit of character there may be other choices

Great location in Mossel Bay. Ocean facing rooms and comfortable beds.
Pros:

The location was excellent with the rooms facing the ocean. Beautiful views of Mossel Bay. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows, always a plus for me. The porters were very helpful with our luggage. The reception staff were always very pleasant .

Cons:

We did have a couple of issues which were discussed with the hotel manager prior to checking out. It appears the restaurant/lounge bar is run separately to the hotel and I think this is definitely an issue because of the disconnect. The beach bar at the front of the hotel is also run separately and a very lively, noisy party took place on the Friday night. Again, it was out of the hotel’s hands but we were not aware of this at the time or informed that there was to be a party. I explained to the manager that we were travellers from the U.K. and we wouldn’t allow these issues to spoil our stay in what was a good hotel in a fabulous location.

Perfect start to a lovely weekend
Pros:

Warm, friendly and efficient check-in, lovely big comfortable rooms with stunning views and an absolutely wonderful breakfast spread. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that the restaurant couldn't charge the bill to the room.

Best sunrise, ocean view and beach access. We had a very pleasant stay.
Pros:

This has been my second and certainly not last stay. The room was lovely and we slept very well. It’s location and the view of the sea and access to the beach are excellent. The staff are super friendly. Sunrise can’t get much better here.

Cons:

The one thing I feel needs improvement is the food in the main restaurant. The burgers are great but the pizzas need more love. We found the food at the Indian restaurant on the first floor better. The breakfast buffet is good.

Warning - lower your expectations.
Pros:

The view is remarkable.

Cons:

The manager was rude, threatening and condescending. We were misled on an upgrade to the honeymoon room, which was not the one advertised on the website. Upon questioning this she threatened to downgrade us. We were not treated like guests of the establishment and advised that we would write this negative review, but the attitude was like she couldnt care less. The staff in general appeared to be on vacation, not conducting themselves in a professional manner, laughing and talking as if they were the real guests. The cooked fish smell couldn't be escaped all day, every day. The pillow case was stained for consecutive days - not changed. The beach was inaccessible to guests but this wasn't noted. Housecleaning entered without fair warning and startled us. Breakfast is limited and below average. Food containers were filled with hot steam and burnt my wife's arm and my hand - no warning signs. Would not recommend and would not spend my money there again.

The stairs to the beach were not working
The staff (Restuarant and housekeeping) were rude. Restaurant staff sloppy and unprofessional. I ordered a cocktail drink and the waiter walked up and down for about an hour, said she was looking for a glass. Eventually, when the cocktail arrived, I was in my room already and it looked and tasted nothing like a cocktail. I asked for crushed ice and another one tried to extort money from me by selling the ice saying they charge R35 for a bucket of ice and to bring it to my room they charge R10
The photo attached was the cocktail that eventually landed on my room.
