Ein Hyatt eben, tolles Frühstück
Check-in on the 18th floor was super private. Lounge happy hour was pretty much full fledged dinner. Very clean and classy design
アレルギー対応が良かったです。また、高級感もあり、最高でした!!
立地的に仕方がないが、ロケーションが残念。その反面、国際通りに近くて観光的には最高です。
Disappointing Service Recovery Despite a Nice Hotel
Hyatt Regency Naha Okinawa has comfortable rooms, a convenient location, and good facilities. Unfortunately, my overall experience was overshadowed by several service issues that did not reflect the standards I expect from the Hyatt Regency brand.
The first disappointment occurred at check-in. After arriving at the hotel, I was informed that the hotel parking was already full and was asked to find parking elsewhere before returning to check in. I was driving a Toyota Land Cruiser 250, a large SUV that is not easy to park in the surrounding area. As a hotel guest arriving with luggage, I expected the hotel to provide better assistance or an alternative solution instead of leaving me to solve the problem on my own.
The second issue was much more significant. At around 1:00 a.m., a false fire alarm forced guests to evacuate. While I completely understand that unexpected incidents can happen and that guest safety must always come first, the hotel’s communication during the emergency was disappointing. Guests received no proactive updates about what was happening, whether the building had been confirmed safe, or when it was appropriate to return to their rooms.
The following morning, I was equally surprised that there was no proactive acknowledgment or apology at check-out. Only after I asked about the incident did the front desk provide a brief explanation.
After returning home, I exchanged several emails with the hotel. To their credit, they admitted that they had not provided an adequate explanation at check-out, had not shown sufficient empathy, and had fallen short of Hyatt Regency’s service standards. However, despite acknowledging these shortcomings, I felt that the focus of their responses remained on explaining why the hotel was not responsible for the cause of the alarm rather than recognizing the impact on the guest experience or demonstrating meaningful service recovery.
What disappointed me most was not the false fire alarm itself, but how the situation was handled before, during, and after the incident.
For comparison, I also stayed at Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island Okinawa during the same trip. Although I encountered a different issue there, the staff demonstrated empathy, professionalism, and genuine concern for the guest experience. The contrast between the two Hyatt Regency properties was striking.
This hotel has excellent physical facilities, but hospitality is measured by how a hotel responds when things do not go as planned. Unfortunately, that was where Hyatt Regency Naha fell well below my expectations.
Stayed here for 4 nights/5 days. We have connected rooms for 4 of us. The rooms are nice and clean. Staffs are friendly and moat of them understand simple English. There are also USB ports near the night stand for you to charge your device. The AC return vents are also clean. There is just a few things that I think it can be improved on. First is the elevator. There are 3 elevators but one of them requires room card to operate. The other two elevators don't require room card. Two, in our connected rooms, one room has the minimum temperature lockec at 20C. You cannot go lowet than 20C. When you press on the button to lower the temperature, it will display temperature lock. However, the othernroom does not have any temperature lock where I can go lower than 20C. Okinawa weather is hot. My family feel hot at night time because the temperature cannot be adjusted lower. Three, parking availability. They have a vertical tower parking system. You drive the car in and the system will lift your car up. However, the space is limited. The first day we got there, there was no space for us. We need to park outside in a different private parking lot and check back again the next day. Last but not least and that the laundry. They have a self serve laundry and this is a big big plus because if your travel lite, you can do your laundry there. The laundry opens 24hrs. However, the laundry is a washer/dryer combo typw. A standard wash and dry will take 2 hours. Maybe because our clothing material are little thicker from U.S, after 2 hours, the clothes are not dry, I need to extend two additional 30mins of dry time which making the entire laundry time a total of 3 hours. If you plan to use the laundry, recommending you do it early in the moring around 6AM otherwise it will be packed. Overall, I think the hotel is great, rooms are comfortable and staffs are friendly.
July 2026
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Naha, Okinawa, and had a fantastic experience. The location is incredibly convenient — it is less than a 5-minute walk to the lively Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street, making it easy to head out for food, shopping, and exploring at any time.
The hospitality here is top-notch; every staff member I encountered was warm, helpful, and genuinely friendly. For anyone planning a road trip around Okinawa, the hotel offers on-site parking for an additional fee, which made managing our rental car incredibly stress-free.
As someone who likes to keep up with a fitness routine, I was impressed by the gym. It is nicely renovated, clean, and the equipment was more than sufficient for my workout needs.
Overall, it was a thoroughly pleasant stay. I would choose to stay here again on my next trip to Okinawa!
清潔でした。

無いです。
Muy lindo el hotel. La ubicación es muy buena, cerca del centro de naha. Mi único consejo pero no tiene que ver con esto: no vayan en junio a okinawa. Llueve todo el tiempo.
Nada! Todo súper bien
It's the best out of my 7 nights in Naha. Location is excellent, staff is kind and helpful. Thanks so much, will be back again.
We have loyalty rating with Accor, Hilton and Marriott but none with Hyatt. However, our stay at Hyatt Regency in Naha Okinawa might change that. This is a great hotel in the heart of Naha, Okinawa. Rates are very affordable and we booked a suite with connecting room on executive level.
Rooms are very nice, well equipped, and clean! Good water pressure in the bathroom and comfortable beds. We had access to the lounge which was a great plus since we got caught in the typhoon Bavi and had to stay indoors one extra day.
Great staff!
