A first class experience
Pros:

Fine, a bed for the night
Pros:

Flying visit so hard to judge, checked in, changed, went to function, came back late, got up and checked out. Was disappointed breakfast not included, sure on booking I had read it was.
Bed comfortable, linen good

Cons:

Had to change day of booking and paid significant extra amount

Excellent stay!
Pros:

The welcome, accommodations, breakfast and friendly staff were excellent. Our entire group rested well in the comfortable rooms and quieter atmosphere. The general manager Callum, sent our group off with delightful farewell! Highly recommend The Clayton Hotel if you stay in Cambridge.

Cambridge City break
Pros:

A comfy bed and a great location, right by the train station, bus stops and local cafés, made the stay convenient. Ideal base for Wicken Fen nature reserve, National Trust Wimpole House and London link (50 minute fast train)

Cons:

the lack of a coffee machine in the room was surprising for a hotel of this standard. Although free espresso was available in reception, it came in disposable cups, which felt like a compromise. Breakfast was expensive if not included in booking. We were also advised by reception that the hop on /off bus only accepted cash, so we booked tickets through their Events screen, only to find the driver did take card and that we’d paid £27 more than necessary. (worked out More expensive than return to London by train! ) Reception were not helpful when we raised this, and the lack of compensation was disappointing.

Schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage. Hotel liegt in direkter Lage zum Hauptbahnhof. Große Zimmer, auch ausreichend für 3 Personen, mit großem Bad. Schöne und stilsichere Ausstattung. Nettes Personal.
Gute Restaurants in der Nähe.

Cons:

Frühstück könnte besser ausfallen. Keine Parkplätze.

Very friendly and professional staff!
Pros:

We had amazing food and cocktails at the Tamburlaine bar and restaurant.
Daniel and Kelly was so friendly, attentive and very professional. Will definitely come back again and again.

Pros:

Wir hatten ein Executive Zimmer mit Balkon und Kingsize Bett! Das Badezimmer war sauber und groß. Das Bett war super weich! Kaffee, Tee und Getränke im Zimmer inkludiert, Fahrrad gratis zum ausborgen! Sehr freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Essen im Restaurant sehr gut, unser Kellner Yuki war besonders nett!
