Great hotel in all respects; super convenient for the station (although then a 15 minute walk into the city); clean and spacious rooms; friendly staff. Good value for money for Cambridge.

Spacious, clean and near to the Cambridge Railway Station.
Overall a beautiful place but maybe if there were gym or sauna facilities it would have been great.
Another great stay at the Clayton Cambridge! It is in a perfect location to the train station, very comfortable rooms and a beautiful bathroom. The gym facility is excellent and has everything you need. We will definitely stay again.

The room allocated to us was an accessible room for guests with disabilities, which I had specifically tried to avoid when making the booking.
We also requested an early check-in and were charged £45, as the property advised there was a £15 per hour fee. We found this charge unreasonable, particularly as we were never informed in advance that early check-in would incur an additional fee. Had this been disclosed before our arrival, we could have decided whether to proceed or make alternative arrangements.
Overall, the lack of transparency regarding the early check-in fee and the allocation of an accessible room despite our booking preferences were disappointing.
