Really enjoyed my stay at the Clayton Hotel. The atmosphere was beautiful and the staff are lovely. Especially Marvin, he was so sweet, definitely recommend.
We stayed at the Clayton for one night Which was excellent. From walking in the experience was exceptional. Sitting at the bar was really great too. Then dinner in the restaurant was also pleasurable. The staff were great and very attentive. Thank you.
A really wonderful stay; we were a group of 10 and had 5 beautiful and well sized rooms. Check in was very easy and the reception area is gorgeous. The hotel accommodated my request for rooms to be close to each other which was great.
The hotel is in a great location in Cambridge, with easy access into the main centre for restaurants and shops.
Beds were very comfy and had slippers and toiletries provided.
There is a lovely mezzanine area over the reception to gather and relax.
Breakfast was delicious!
Not something the hotel can necessarily deal with but more an FYI for future guests travelling by car: since a new company have taken over the former NCP car park at the train station, the parking charge has increased as only a daily flat rate is available to purchase for parking. Worth bearing in mind when booking if coming by car; we stayed for 2 nights and had to pay £52 for 3 days parking.

The staff messed up our breakfast and charged us wrongly and then tried to say that we made a mistake. They did end up refunding us for the breakfast
Perfect large room sizes and standing shower went a long way to make the stay special.
Staff went over and above to resolve issues. Dining staff were absolutely outstanding in manners, helpfulness, cleanliness and delivery. The food in the restaurant is the best I have experienced in a hotel.
I would have given 10 across the board but the very late room cleaning, which was usually after 4.30pm let it down. Calls to reception were often unanswered though they usually called back later.
Professioneller Empfang und Möglichkeit am An- und Abreisetag Koffer abzugeben. Check in problemlos. Gutes Frühstück mit full english breakfast Auswahl und der Möglichkeit individuell Omelette, etc. zubereiten zu lassen. In den Zimmern tatsächlich eine Steckdose die für kontinentaleuropäische Stecker funktioniert und ausreichend Lademöglichkeiten für USB. Adapter trotzdem hilfreich. Einziges Manko der Zugang zur Altstadt zu Fuß dauert 20-30 Minuten, dafür bahnhofsnah (keine langen Strecken mit dem Gepäck). Auch einige Supermärkte um die Ecke. Die Lage war bekannt, uns hat es nicht gestört.

La cercanía a la estación de tren es perfecta para conocer los alrededores de Cambridge y llegar con el tren desde Stansted .
El hotel es perfecto. Lo único es que está un poco alejado del centro histórico .

The hotel was very clean and smelled fresh the moment I walked in...
The bed was extremely comfortable with spotless, beautifully made linens.
The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always answering my questions right away.
The view from my balcony was breathtaking—drinking morning coffee there was pure magic. ✨️

We've had a wonderful stay! Beautiful stay made even more special by the fantastic staff. A special mention to Dina and Joao from the bar - lovely people who looked after us so well. And Kelly who was very kind after my friend had a fall. The staff at breakfast were also lovely - Faisal yesterday and a man whose name I unfortunately didn't get this morning but who was so proud to have joined the Clayton Group.
