🥵 HOT !
Pros:

Room extremely clean and beautifully decorated and staff really pleasant and helpful it’s just unfortunate that there was no air con in the rooms.

Cons:

I know we visited at the time when we were experiencing the unusually and extremely 🥵 hot weather BUT! the room was unbearably hot and uncomfortable. A fan was in place but wasn’t much help unfortunately. I feel that the Rope Makers really need to install air conditioning!

A pleasant & comfortable stay about twenty minutes walk from the town of Emsworth.
Pros:

Comfortable room and bar.
We didn’t eat at the hotel, so can’t comment on food.

Exactly what I wanted, booked and needed. I will identify again
Pros:

Great location, well presented and great facilities

Cons:

The TB remote was susceptible and didn’t work well but enough for the length of stay.
Room was hit due to heatwave but the placement of a fan in the room made a huge difference

Lovely stay, less carparking fine !!!
Pros:

Breakfast very good, room was also good.

Cons:

Getting a parking ticket for 99.00 pounds from the car hire company + admin charge for parking at the Hotel car park !!!! it was not even mentioned if I had a car at check in, very poor.

A little gem
Pros:

This is a fantastic little hotel and pub. Rooms are spacious and comfortable with great in room facilities for humans and dogs. Staff are warm, welcoming and very helpful. Menu was nicely varied

A decent place to spend a night, good quality rooms and a nice lively bar.
Pros:

Pleasant rooms, decent bar, nice staff, a good pub with rooms. I didn't eat so can't comment, but I had a beer in the bar and it was busy and lively.

Lovely rooms, staff, pub and hotel, but way too hot to sleep
Pros:

The staff are lovely, the room we stayed in was great - it was clean and there was lovely attention to detail.

Cons:

I have stayed here once before last year around the same time - the weather then was really warm, so I put the temperature of the room down to the weather outside. This year, it was a lot cooler (15 degrees be 25 degrees), but the room was still boiling. If the rooms had AC, then I would continue to return happily, but two years in a row I have slept really badly, so I don’t think I can return again. My partner also found it way too hot to sleep unfortunately.

Wonderful stay
