Pros:

La vue

Cons:

Late booking with booking.com, we could have stayed anywhere but attracted by the location.
Pros:

They have one of the best locations in Ireland, but need to continue to modernise (in keeping with the historical quality of the building they are lucky to be the guardians of). Best Wishes, we will return soon.

Cons:

Staff were just lovely.

Great place to stay if cycling or touring the Wild Atlantic Way
Pros:

As I am cycling around the coast of Ireland the hotel is at a great location for the greenway to Achill island and Westport.
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly, my room was very good, the food and the local Mayo lager were excellent

Cons:

Nothing

Scenic, historic County Mayo North Atlantic coastline getaway
Pros:

Old world charm, classic Irish hospitality, comfort, reasonably good food, located above the dynamic tidal Clew Bay, views of the waxing and waning tides throughout the day from your window, sheep keeping the lawn trimmed, stunning hills and windswept North Atlantic shorelines of Achill Island a short drive away, Irish history abound in the nearby inland mountains... highly recommended for American seeking a place to escape from daily headlines. Great for

Cons:

If one wants lots of nearby stores for shopping or same day Amazon deliveries, this is not the place. Otherwise, if only a few local pubs with mind-blowing marine-scapes needed, it is.
