Old-world charm on a stunning part of the coast
Pros:

Shortly after we arrived, my wife said that it was like stepping back into old Hollywood, and she was absolutely right. The hotel oozes old world charm, the staff are fantastic, the food is great and the location is stunning. We wished that we had booked another few nights. It's the sort of place that you don't want to leave.

Pros:

Posizione splendida. Spiaggia privata, accessibile soltanto agli ospiti della struttura, ombrelloni distanti tra loro e tutti fronte bagnasciuga. Distanza breve dal centro di Formia, ottima posizione anche per escursioni nei dintorni.

Location incantevole, immersa in un parco . Camera vista mare. Personale gentile

Cons:

Bagno minuscolo con box doccia minuscolo,, phon che si spegneva dopo 40 secondi di funzionamento (attesa di 1 minuto per successiva accensione). No ascensore in palazzina dove dormivamo (non so nelle altre, la struttura consta di diversi edifici)

Grande storia e grande fascino. Situazione attuale da rivedere.
Pros:

Struttura con passato prestigioso ed evocativo. La posizione magnifica, con ville che affacciano su spiaggia privata, tra pini e palme. Anche la piscina è incastonata nel parco che digrada verso la spiaggia. Dunque una atmosfera molto piacevole e gratificante. Il personale della struttura molto disponibile e professionale.

Cons:

Capisco che gli arredi in stile veneziano fanno parte del contesto e della storia dell'albergo, dunque sono da accettare. Però per un albergo che pretende di essere un grande albergo, non sono accettabili materassi come quello che ho trovato io. Vetusti ed informi, su cui non si riesce a dormire. Anche i bagni così usurati ed obsoleti non sono accettabili in un albergo che vuole porsi ad un livello alto, con tariffe commisurate al livello a cui vuole porsi.

the outdoor space, beach access and beach

Cons:

Requested twin beds; booked in double; hotel error; they offered another room with a twin in an alcove, which we were not comfortable with; no other offer to accomodate for the hotel error; 1 complimentary access to the beach would have sufficed, their response was; that the unaccepted offer was the only compensation. the bed posts are a bit hazardous, protruding, bumping into them frequently, advise guest accordingly.

Accoglienza eccellente, molto disponibili. Posizione favolosa. Spiaggia a disposizione dell’hotel, comodissima. Colazione ottima . Darei un ottimo .

Una ristrutturazione dell’esterno , renderebbe questa struttura eccellente.
Il parcheggio delle auto all’interno della struttura, da un lato, comodo, bruttino come aspetto .
