Clean comfortable rooms, excellent central location. The wonderful ladies in the breakfast hall were kind and patient chatting to my Dad with dementia.

Continental breakfast
Although the room was quite small, it was very comfortable and had everything I needed for my short stay. The Wi-Fi connection was good and reliable.
I had seen quite a few reviews mentioning the stairs, and since I was travelling with a very large and heavy suitcase, I was a little worried about them. Honestly, though, they weren’t nearly as bad as I expected. I managed to carry my suitcase upstairs on my own without much trouble, even though I don’t consider myself particularly strong.
I also really appreciated being able to leave my luggage at reception after check-out, which meant I could spend the rest of the day exploring the city without having to carry it around.

Old building with much charm
old building means we hear the neighbors a bit.
But nothing dramatic, as long as the neighbors keep quiet late at night
Nothing to be honest
It was very poor. The only good thing was the location. It was very dirty, uncomfortable bed and pillows, no air con in one room, creaky floorboards, noisy sounds coming from other rooms when they showered. A really bad experience with this hotel.
Price-quality excellent for cambridge
The breakfast selection, general attractive appearance of the hotel and the friendly atmosphere.
The mattress was to hard. The duvet provided was far too thick for the weather so that I had to remove it from its cover; a spare sheet would have worked. There was a persistent noise from outside on the second night which kept me awake. (A small refund made for this inconvenience was appreciated.) There was also a very loud creaking noise (like floor boards) from the room above during waking hours which was annoying.
