Location, peace and tranquility, and the views across the shires landscapes , the drive up the tree lined drive in the dark is magical
Too far from home to visit regularly
We were at the hotel for a wedding which was being held at the hotel. The whole experience was faultless and the bride and groom were delighted. It was a beautiful occasion and Mehmet, the event manager, was excellent, attentive and always on hand. The food, decor and service were all superb.
Our room was lovely and spotless with a lovely shower.
Nothing! Air conditioning would have been nice in our room this weekend but I imagine it can’t be fitted due to the age of the building. However, the blinds in our room were drawn and the window left open so it was fine and there was a fan in the room if we wanted to use it.
Staff were really accommodating and food was delicious.
Nothing.
Beautiful! Lovely staff, room and service
Nothing, it’s a gem
Beautifully kept building, loads of character and excellent service!

Outstanding hotel.
Beautiful property , great grounds
It was a shame the Orangery was closed for repairs
Perfect. Beautiful place.
Not that we watch much TV but the tech was very old & small.
Magnificent. A truly beautiful setting and a real sense of luxury and comfort pervades Kilworth House Hotel. Friendly and helpful staff at all times, the peace and serenity of the hotel will stay with us.
There was a problem with the boiler the night we arrived, so the water was not hot enough. Kilworth House staff kindly offered to move us into another room, which we did. This made for a lovely weekend, the tepid water soon forgotten, we enjoyed our stay very much indeed.
Stunning location, probably the finest staff i have encountered from groundsmen, house keeping to reception every member of staff was friendly discreet and professional. Quality breakfast.
Corridors where a little dim but it was a dull day so looking forward to our next visit being a sunny day
I was very disappointed as i struggled to open the front door with bags and briefcases staff stood chatting at the front desk and did not come to help. indeed, two of them watched me struggle then walked away.
No offer to help then or even after check in, no offer to help with bags to the room. Poor directions to the room.
Dinner was slightly disorganised; i was never told the soup or fish of the day. Had to ask. Food was fine but under seasoned. Expected better quality and bread: i had just returned from France and it was jarring that bread was not offered.
Room lovely.
Breakfast -hello???? No one was around. Seated myself. very slow service and i was headed to a meeting so my timetable was tight. unhelpful i had to ask several times for toast and water (oddly no water on the buffet, just juice). I noticed several other guests asking for missing items and unsure where to sit i.e. no staffing
Overall a lovely hotel trying hard but staffing let it down. Not worth the 185£ night i paid even on an expense account.
And they forgot my wake up call: thank goodness i set my own alarm!
