Pros:

Large room with very comfortable bed. Fresh milk in the fridge and good selection of teas and coffee in the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Perfect location for visiting the Agatha Christie festival

Für den bezahlten Preis ok, aber mehr nicht
Pros:

Frühstück war gut, Lage ebenfalls.

Cons:

Sehr viele Treppen-für Personen höheren Alters und nicht mehr gut zu Fuss schwierig. Relativ kleine Zimmer und auch innerhalb des Zimmers zwei Treppenstufen.

Pros:

room clean and comfortable fresh chilled milk and water in fridge every day good choice of tea and coffees in room

Cons:

on last day of stay went for breakfast, put on a table with just a knife and fork and used jug of milk, no menu, sat there waited and waited so decided to go for cereal and continental breakfast, there were no cereal bowls to be seen or plates for continental breakfast, went back to my table to find a heap cutlery on a tray in middle table so gave up went back to my room, been going to Belgrave hotel for 4 years first time experience poor quality service.

A really nice hotel, that catered for our needs
Pros:

The room was spacious and mostly clean.
It was nice to find cold water in the fridge, and treats for our anniversary.
Breakfast was really nice and filling.
Staff were friendly, helpful and attentive
The swimming pool was a nice welcome. A little on the small side but not many people were in the pool so it worked for us.
The sauna and steam room were a welcome.
Having car parking was a bonus,
location was good - not too near the hustle and bustle, but near enough to walk around the harbour and into town.

Cons:

We went in the hot weather, room was too hot, one fan was not enough.
There was dust hanging down from ceiling
There were fruit flies on the fruit at breakfast - maybe keep covered.
Our view was the road and bowling green - that was fine, but not a fab view!

Nice little break but luck of sleep
Pros:

Close distance to most places we want to see, modern design interior, spa

Cons:

Close to main very busy road , couldn’t sleep with window closed because was hot and open window- to much noise.

Pros:

I enjoyed my stay at the Begrave Sands Hotel and spa . The staff were welcoming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Food was lovely. Breakfast large choice and evening menu good choice . Bedroom was comfortable with all amenities catered for .

Cons:

Sadly I found the hotel to be too warm for me . It felt uncomfortable but that may have just been me . It would probably stop me revisiting which is disappointing as that was the only negative in what was a enjoyable stay . Wouldn't put anyone staying though .

Cons:

Our room was a bit too warm, an air con unit would help. Reception staff brought us an extra fan and were helpful and very understanding
