I had a wonderful stay at Pullman Colombo City Centre. Everything was excellent from start to finish—the room, service, cleanliness, facilities, and overall hospitality were outstanding. This hotel was built around 2017 and has rebranded to NH Colkection Hotel in 2024.

The hotel has security check of luggage as you enter the lobby and a large reception area for check-in.

A small coffee shop with some seating is also on the ground floor where I enjoyed my welcome drink whilst I was being checked-in.

I booked a superior room for my two night stay and was allocated a room on the ninth floor with views between other buildings out to the coastline.

The room was spacious with large comfortable bed, chair with lamp and side table, writing desk and chair, a lounge , large TV., small fridge and two small complimentary bottles of water. Tea and coffee making facilities were located on a small bench area between the wardrobe and separate bathroom.

The wardrobe contained slippers, a small digital safe, coat hangers, hanging space and drawers, iron and ironing board and a torch. A foldable luggage rack was also in the wardrobe to use for your baggage.

The bathroom had an entry door from the small hallway next to the wardrobe and a larger sliding door entry off the bedroom area. The toilet was next to the door entry.

Twin basins , complimentary amenities, and pump containers of hand soap, hand and body lotion between the hand basins and shower gel shampoo and condoner in the shower.

A towel rack with floor mat and towels and separate hand towels on the towel rails in front of the hand basins.

The shower had a full size window with city view and a roller blind to utilise when using the shower and bathroom areas.

The room was a little tired in places including the roller blind in the bathroom and general wear and tear on some of room furnishings.

The hotel offers room service.

The breakfast included in my room rate at the time of booking is definitely worth paying for.

A large selection of western and other cuisines, including egg station for omelettes, fried, scrambled and poached eggs.

A separate room of the main food and seating area has the parties and breads and toaster.

Coffee machine and tea bags and hot water . An exceptional self service chilled mango or strawberry smoothie drinks from glass jugs next to the other juices that were also available.

The rooftop bar, with separate infinity pool with views and hot tub area is great for a rest in the middle of the day or for an evening drink or meal.

The only drawback is the bar area is smoking so if you are a non-smoker you will have to take this into account, it would be better if they had two distinct areas.

I enjoyed two meals with a drink on both nights I stayed and the food and service were excellent.

The hotel is close to Galle Face Green 15 -20 min walk and also in the area is the One Galle Face Mall and the new Colombo Port City. The Lotus Tower is also walkable but allow about 30 mins.

Overall an enjoyable two night stay.

The location of this hotel was absolutely perfect. Just a short walk from the beach and all the nearby shops.

The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to go the extra mile to accommodate every need. They even had a shuttle service to the casino, which was such a great added bonus!

Our room was spotless, and all the amenities were beautifully maintained and ready to use. The breakfast and dinner buffets had an amazing variety of options, with seafood lovers especially spoilt for choice!

We absolutely loved our stay and only wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily come back!

Our stay at the NH Collection Colombo was, without a doubt, one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had.

From the moment we checked in, we felt genuinely welcomed. Even though the hotel was completely full, the team surprised us with a complimentary room upgrade to a beautiful room featuring a bathtub right by the window overlooking the ocean. It was the perfect start to our stay.

Unfortunately, I came down with a pretty bad flu during our trip. What happened afterwards is something I’ll never forget. The staff went above and beyond to make sure I was as comfortable as possible. They regularly brought me honey, different kinds of tea and plenty of water, and kept checking in to see how I was feeling. I honestly didn’t feel like just another guest – I felt like I was being looked after by family, almost like being back home with my mum.

What impressed us even more was that, despite the hotel being fully booked, they still managed to arrange a late check-out until 2:00 PM so I could get some extra rest before we had to leave. That level of care and flexibility is incredibly rare.

A very special thank you goes to MISFAH, GANGURI, HASHINI, RIVINI and PASIDU. You all truly went the extra mile to make sure my wife and I could still enjoy our stay despite me being sick. Your kindness, warmth and genuine hospitality made all the difference, and we are so grateful for everything you did for us.

Beautiful rooms and amazing sea views are one thing, but it’s people like MISFAH, GANGURI, HASHINI, RIVINI and PASIDU who make a hotel truly special. Thanks to you, this wasn’t just another hotel stay—it became a memory we’ll always cherish.

We will definitely recommend NH Collection Colombo to everyone we know, and when we’re back in Colombo, there’s no question where we’ll stay.
