Wonderful staff and clean room
Pros:

Wonderful staff members and the room were clean and overall good value for money. Though the room definitely needing to get freshen up and perhaps a mini refurb. I do recommend staying here if you need something low cost and of good value.

Ruined by a smelly towel!
Pros:

Newly painted, friendly and helpful staff.

Cons:

Food prices were more expensive than where I live in London.

Unfortunately, after having a shower I started to dry myself with the bath towel which looked clean but I quickly realised had a pretty bad smell.

Ideal
Pros:

Friendly, quick check in. Great budget option for solo female traveler having a rest stop before catching the ferry in the morning. Slept like a baby, could charge my phone and grab a hot shower. It’s a family owned little pub with rooms above. Shop across the road and short drive to the terminal. Plenty of space for parking also!

Excellent value accomodation
Pros:

Lovely accomodation newly decorated and run by a lovely lady called Liz , room very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding . A great little place to stay when going to and from the ferry port. Looking forward to staying when im back from Ireland in a couple of weeks

Cons:

Only a minor point would have preferred the double bed rather than a twin room as I had booked only reason was my frame is slightly larger than the bed! But thats my issue

The room was small but adequate. The en suite shower and toilet had new tiles.
Pros:

Breakfast was fine.
Bicycles were outside. In a gated yard and semi -secure, not visible to outsiders.

Cons:

The evening meals should have been better for the price. My pork chop was slightly pink - undercooked.
My friends gammon was thin and chips were soggy.
With not much change from £20 you expect attention to details.
