Lovely location in Old Glossop, friendly staff and great breakfast. Nice room with view of church
Nothing
Gary runs a very well organised establishment which puts the customer first.
The staff were so helpful and the food excellent!
The breakfast was lovely.
We were lucky the weather was dry. If it was raining I would not want to walk down for breakfast.
Nice room well presented. Good location.
Breakfast was served at a partner pub a walk away.
The tenant above our room (1) had either the television or radio playing loudly until 1am then again at 6am sleeping was no an option. Not what I’d expected after such a long journey from Kent at £115.00 a night! Still waiting to hear from the manager after sending a report!
Breakfast good. Room large, warm and comfortable. Friendly staff
Nice place.
There was a young gentleman who didn’t know how to check me in but after a short wait it was sorted when the owner (I presume) arrived.
Great location, and very friendly staff! Very comfy bed, and great shower. Very spacious room. We had no problem at all going down to their sister pub for breakfast (also had a curry there one evening upstairs which was great). Free parking just over the road in a little local carpark, very convenient.
Nothing!
I left my suit trousers and waistcoat in the chest drawers of my room. Annoying for everyone but it happens. I called twice to ask if I could arrange a courier to pick them up. They said they would come back to me but nobody ever did. I wrote a note via Booking.com asking for my suit back. Nobody helped me. A real shame because otherwise it's a lovely property.
Friendly staff on arrival
Having to go to another pub for breakfast when it was advertised as breakfast included and arriving back at the pub on a Sunday evening when we were told they were open until 11pm and the bar area was shuttered off. Total shitshow
When all four of us got there the bar tender could not have been more helpful.
We were all soaking from working inthe rain all day
He was so accommodating and looked after us all👍
Nothing
We all said that we would come back here rather than the soulless Travelodge 🕺
