Please note that each room can accommodate just one middle-sized pet with maximum weight of 25 kg (or 3 small-sized pets, as long as the total weight is 25 kg) at a daily surcharge of 70 BRL, which must be paid upon arrival. The permanence of the pets is restricted to the apartments. Not the best place anymore.
Pros:

Location is great, near Cidade Baixa which has plenty of bars, street food and night life. Neighborhood is perfect to go out.

Cons:

Hotel itself was pretty disappointing this time. I use to stay overnight exclusively at Intercity Cidade Baixa for many positive reasons which I missed completely this time: A week ago we stayed at Intercity Batel in Curitiba, where things were fast and efficient. This week in Porto Alegre the check in took a long time to fill up our registration which we expected to be at least connected to all Intercity network. I use to visit the hotel each three months and it surprised me we had to redo a thing which is supposed to be ready since I'm frequent in here. Rude staff at the check in (girl who helped me behaved as making me a favor right after my request for any availability for a upgrade) The way she communicated showed a lack of empathy and professionalism. Then the room: quite dirty and old, much more a Spartan like style. Walls with condensation marks from previous times, bed with some trim coming to loose. Bathroom: almost no shampoo in the dispenser and toilet flush inefficient. Also no proper ventilation which made the room highly humid.
