Nice stay, nice room and staff. Meals were good value.
Pros:

A hidden gem. Really nice village.
Excellent stay before catching the ferry to Isle of Man.
We watched a local cricket match which was only about 500 yards from the hotel. Never watched one before. Locals were nice and invited us into the clubhouse and bar.

Cons:

Only a very minor thing which we reported and is being addressed was the mixer tap in the bathroom was giving out hot water on both hot and cold.

Nice quiet location. The breakfast offered excellent choice and the service we received was really top class

The drains in our room needed attention as they were a bit smelly, but the service we received negated that

Excellent location for a short break.
Pros:

Every staff member we met was cheerful and helpful. Great customer service. Good car parking space. Well cooked and presented meals.

Cons:

Two flights of steps to room not ideal. Larger bed would have been appreciated.

A lovely stay, lovely rooms in a great pub with friendly staff and lovely food.
Pros:

A great place to stay in such a lovely quaint old street. A lovely room with a comfortable bed and great shower and in such a great pub. I definitely recommend The Royal to stay if in the area.

Pros:

The food at the Royal is excellent.
The breakfast was amazing.
The room had everything you could wish for. We had a small flask with fresh milk, ground coffee bags tea hot chocolate, bottles of water,all the toiletries.
The bed was super comfy.
We will definitely return here.
