Aloft by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong

The location close to the Myeongdong Street Market and the Mall is very convenient for a few days in Seoul. I would stay here again.

We had a really great stay at Aloft Seoul Myeongdong and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Seoul for sightseeing and shopping.

The location is honestly one of the biggest advantages of this hotel. It is a perfect starting point for exploring many of Seoul’s major attractions. A lot of places can easily be reached on foot — from the famous to the lively Myeongdong street food area with countless delicious local food options. The newly opened UNIQLO Myeongdong and Olive Young Town are also nearby, together with many other shopping opportunities, cafés, restaurants, and small stores to explore.

Another huge advantage is the transportation connection. Many important bus lines to major sightseeing spots such as the royal palaces and different temples start directly in front of the hotel. The airport limousine bus also stops right at the hotel, which makes arrival and departure extremely convenient. Overall, the location really could not be much better for exploring Seoul comfortably.

The hotel staff was always attentive, welcoming, and friendly throughout our stay, which made the experience even more pleasant.

The breakfast was more Asian-oriented compared to a typical Western breakfast, but everything was fresh and very tasty with a good variety of options.

The rooms were sufficiently spacious, clean, and comfortable. Even though the hotel is located directly next to a busy street, you can barely hear the traffic inside the rooms. We slept very well every night without any noise issues.

Overall, this hotel is an excellent choice if you want to stay centrally in Seoul while having comfort, great accessibility, and many attractions right outside your door.

I liked the location and the nice clean room with reasonable size. My partner loved the popcorn in the lobby!!

Fiesta I would like to give a little bit more details on how to actually find the hotel. From the airport you can take bus 6015 that will leave you a little farther from the hotel, once you get down walk pass the subway station stay on your right away from the myeondong area. Pass the olive beauty shop and 7 eleven that would be on your left side continue up and the hotel will be on your left side. If you take an Uber or taxi they will leave right in front of the hotel super convenient.
We have been to Seoul before but this hotel by far has been the best. The location is great since you have myeondong to the right or left. The subway station is right next door. Buses in front of the hotel are easy for getting Uber rides or taxis. Across is the lotte hotel and duty free shopping. You are about 20 minutes walking distance to the cheonggyecheon stream that is beautiful at night. 30 minutes walk to Insandong market.
The hotel is beautiful and elegant as well as modern. The room we had was spacious, comfortable and the view was spectacular. The bed is super comfortable you have a washer and a dryer located on the third floor. We paid for the breakfast and it was worth every penny. The food was amazing they have a variety of Korean and western. As well as cereal and a waffle maker. And the croissants were amazing.
Let me tell you now about the service. Let me start by saying that they will greet you by the door there is always someone opening the door for you welcoming you with a great smile. You need help with directions, getting a taxi or even helping with your bags. Omg! They are number one in my list of happy staff. No one in those 14 days we stayed with them ever gave us a bad attitude. They are amazing, I would like to include the breakfast staff that finds a table for you. The cleaning staff that keeps the room impeccable. I honestly will stay here every time I visit Seoul. This has been the best experience we have ever had while in Seoul. Thank you to everyone in this hotel from the manager to the young staff and Stella. You all made our visit a wonderful one. Hope to see you all soon.

Aloft Myeongdong was a lovely place to stay. The location was fantastic — very central, close to the subway, and right in the heart of Myeongdong. It was also just around the corner from the night food market, with great shopping nearby. Overall, an excellent location for everything and a very enjoyable stay.

New and modern hotel right around the corner of Myeongdong street and Lotte shopping mall. The suite rooms are very spacious and clean. Beds are very comfortable. Despite being next to a busy road, the traffic noise was not noticeable on the high floors.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. And there is free fresh popcorn everyday.
