The Ivey's Hotel

I liked the proximity to the events that I planned . The staff,the amenities and the aesthetics.

Clarissa was extremely kind and professional. She explained in detail the hotel amenities and how to best utilize our benefits. She also provided great recommendations for food and activities in the area. Overall, this was a great experience. 10/10 recommend!

We spent one night at this hotel. I loved the decor of the hotel, the rooms and the bar. The location is great. You do have to valet park your car. The only problem we had was that we went to the hotel at 1pm hoping for an early check in. They said they would call us when the room was ready. Check in is at 3pm. I had to call them at 4:20pm and the room was still not ready!!! I asked for an extended check out time and the manager gave me an extra hour. I felt like I was pulling her teeth out, The other major problem was the elevator was out going up and still out the next day. I feel like that wasn't a priority for them, They did offer an alternative which seemed like a hassle. I have a bad leg and climbing stairs is something I try to avoid.

The Ivey’s Hotel is a Charlotte gem! This is my second stay at this beautiful, elegant hotel. I stayed in the King City Corner Room for this visit. It’s a cozy, well designed room. From the lamps and photogenic night stands, to the freestanding soaking bathtub, the room is perfect for relaxing. The only downside of this specific room is the city cameras outside of the room. They’re located on each side parallel to the windows. Makes it hard to keep the curtains open when you’re not certain of the camera angles. Sophia’s Lounge and the Library just take the experience to the next level. Greyson (front desk) was attentive, friendly and accommodating. Looking forward to my next visit.

Loved Sophia’s lounge and the speakeasy Parisian vibe it gives. The lounge has a very cozy feel to it with the sofa settings!

I had a great staycation night at The Ivey's and really appreciated the hospitality of the staff and how intentional all of the decorations were. Our room had a full and half bathroom which was pretty cool - definitely loved that it wasn't too noisy even though the hotel is right in the middle of uptown Charlotte. The room was super clean; loved the Nespresso machine in there. I want to also thank Madison and Marissa for their assistance and hospitality as well - I appreciate how kind and accommodating they were. I'd definitely stay again!

We found The Ivey’s through Amex Fine Hotels. Along with the excellent benefits we received with the platinum card, we were delighted with the absolute best customer service we’ve ever experienced at a hotel. We were in town celebrating our anniversary with a concert in downtown Charlotte and the beautiful Ivey’s Hotel made our stay very special. Highly recommend this place!
