I had a very good stay at Ahern Hotel. The value for money is excellent: the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, and everything went smoothly during my stay.

There were no hidden fees and no resort fees, which I really appreciated — what you see is what you pay.

Overall, a great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was incredibly disappointing from start to finish.

I checked in for the first time on October 31st and was told I needed to pay a $500 deposit even though my room was pre-paid for. I was told this amount would be split once my roommate checked in later that day. I trusted that information, paid the full amount, and was reassured that I’d receive my portion back and full refund after check-out. Later, I found out that the hotel never collected the deposit from my roommate, even though that was the agreement explained to me at check-in.

I checked out on November 4th and was told my deposit would be refunded. When nothing showed up the next day as a refund, I followed up the next morning and got a completely different explanation, that deposits are only released once all guests have checked out, even though I was no longer staying there and that it would take up to 5 business days.

To make things even more concerning, I eventually called my bank after 13 days to see if they could confirm the status of the refund. I was shocked to learn that the hotel had placed an authorized hold of $500 on my card until December 1st, 2025, despite repeatedly telling me it would release in just 5 business days. This was never communicated to me at any point.

From there, the situation only got worse. I called the hotel multiple times almost every other day for more than a week, left voicemail after voicemail requesting to speak with the operations manager, and was told she was “in a meeting until 3 PM” every single time they answered. Not once did I get a return call or any proactive communication.

The lack of honesty, inconsistency, and complete disregard for guests made this the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Even after finally receiving confirmation that the refund was "processed" via email with not date and time stamp, the amount of stress and misinformation I dealt with was unacceptable.

I will not be staying here again, and I sincerely hope management takes immediate steps to improve transparency and customer service. Guests deserve much better.

$100 per night placed on your card. Only two pillows allotted per guest, non-negotiable. That is all I am going to say here.

We went for my husband's teeth to get done at Bionic Smile. The hotel and staff are very nice. Except for the girl in Aroma Cafe. We had a very enjoyable time staying here with no gambling. Our room was clean and housekeeping is excellent.

Wish there was a microwave in the room. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. The VIP stay included breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was excellent

Service is good , room is clean with reasonable space , Internet speed is good , provide 25% discount for cafe food is plus , if you are looking for a quite , smoke free , no casino lobby , just parking with decent room to sleep then it’s perfect choice with very reasonable priced

Room was big, bright, and clean. Great location. Wonderful restaurants next door and breakfast at the hotwl restaurant was great. The staff from cleaning staff, to restaurant staff, to security all friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make the stay comfortable. The only reason for a 4 rating instead of a 5 is upon arrival the front desk staff had decided to take a lunch break with no relief so we sat for about 45 minutes with others waiting to check in until the desk staff returned.

Taking a half-star off for the awful pink-tinted windows, and another half star off for the lack of dining options in the hotel (no, the Chophouse is not open, it's been closed for some time, according to the sports kitchen bartender).

We liked the location of the hotel, it was very easy to use the parking garage felt safe, the rooms was clean and comfortable also large enough, the only very small inconveniences was that to make sure you ask for room service if you needed, I would stay there again and recommend it to my friends, we slept very well

Best place we stayed in our 6 day trip to California and back home to Colorado. Elegance at an affordable price.
