Tim at reception went above and beyond expectations. I called from Armidale asking if it was possible to check in early so we could change as we were attending a funeral. He made it happen - we were greeted with z smile - he was so friendly and professional such an asset to Mercure. Our room was perfect. So clean - extra large king bed
great shower. Parking off street secure and easy to access all one level. Will stay again if returning to Tamworth.

Friendly lady in reception I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The service was excellent and the overall atmosphere was relaxing.
Although alterations were on the go we managed to get some food in the main room which saved us from going out.

Comfortable bed in good location
We had requested for joined rooms when booking and was confirmed by staff we were getting joined rooms. However upon check-in we found our rooms were separated by other rooms in between. Our family for 4 had to split up :(
Bathroom was not very clean.
Great access to club
That there was a power outage and had no hotwater for shower etc, yet the reception area and club area had back up power but all rooms had nothing, I could understand if everyone else had no power but it seemed like the rooms only had no power which turned our stay to shit with no comfort or hot water so what was the point paying all that money for nothing.
