Please note that Zermatt is a car-free village. You can park your car in Täsch (indoor parking) and continue to Zermatt by train or taxi. The way from the train station to the hotel, may include steep passages, with heavy suitcases we suggest you to take a taxi (we do not offer pickup service). On foot, please ask the hotel for the easiest directions.

If you are traveling with children, please inform the hotel in advance about their number and age.

The spa area, including the whirlpool is only for adults (older than 14 years).

Please note that construction work is going on nearby between 7am and 7pm and some rooms may be affected by noise.

Nice, comfortable stay
Pros:

The staff were super helpful. The balconies overlooking Matterhorn, though affected by ongoing constructions , was beautiful. The rooms were big enough and comfortable. There are other services like whirlpool, sauna etc. that guests can avail. One can just spend time in the balcony admiring tye mountains.

Cons:

The hotel is located at a distance from the station which is not easily walkable, especially if you are travelling with elders. The view from the hotel is also getting impacted with another property being constructed right opposite to it. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but breakfast is served. Owing to its location, it might seem tad bit overpriced.

Pros:

26년 5월기준 앞에 공사장이 있지만 마테호른을 보는데 크게 걸리적거리진 않았어요! 방도 넓고 시설도 깔끔하고 좋았어요. 호텔직원분들도 친절하시고, 호텔위치도 체르마트역이랑 가까워서 도심구경하기도 좋았습니다ㅎㅎ 날씨가 좋아서 황금호른도 보고 잊지 못할 숙소입니다!

As of May 26, there was a construction site in front of me, but it didn't take much time to see the Matterhorn! The room was large, the facilities were clean, and it was nice. The hotel staff were kind, and the location of the hotel was close to Cermatt Station, so it was good to see the city center. haha It's an unforgettable accommodation to see the Golden Horn because the weather is nice!

Cons:

The hotel is surrounded by construction, and they only disclose one of the construction sites. Beware construction across the street can go on in the middle of the night without curtains and bright construction lights, booming, and loud noises!

Excellent Matterhorn View
Pros:

Excellent view of the Matterhorn from our balcony! It was beautiful weather and Matterhorn changes every minute with the lighting. No television needed!

The room was quirky - there was a loft level. There was really no seating on the "main" level but we enjoyed going upstairs for an evening glass of wine.

The shower was great. A makeup mirror was provided so the bathroom could remain available while getting ready.

Breakfast was delicious. A large assortment of meats and cheeses. Excellent bread and jams. We also enjoyed the pancakes.

The hotel is walkable and centrally located to everything - restaurants, hiking trails, cable cars, train station, etc.

Lovely place to stay for a couple of weeks snowboarding.
Pros:

Free afternoon cake! Great hot tub, steam room and sauna.

Cons:

Well it’s in Zermatt. So it’s just not good value! But this is a Zermatt problem, not specific to this hotel.

Had a great stay at Capricorn, coming back to Zermatt, coming back to Capricorn!

Lovely location with excellent view. Staff warned us ahead about some nearby construction but it didn’t affect our stay at all. We appreciated the heads up. Great breakfast!

Perfect hotel for skiing
Pros:

Super friendly staff, comfortable and nice rooms, good breakfast and you feel the eye for detail and very welcome. Ski room is spacious and very clean, room was very large and bright and staff very welcoming.

Letto molto scomodo, prezzo sproporzionato per il servizio offerto.

La colazione è davvero buona.
L’area Wellness è molto carina e piacevole.
Il personale è gentile.

Cons:

In tutto l’hotel pare non abbiano letti matrimoniali, quindi mettono insieme due letti singoli. Questi letti hanno un bordo in legno alto e grosso, quindi nell’unirli creano un avvallamento molto duro e largo in mezzo al letto.
Ed è molto scomodo!
Se si pretendono 409 CHF a notte, si deve offrire molto di più.

Everything was fabulous! The scenery from the room and the spa, in particular, were much better than expected. The sauna was clean and equipped with a self-service löyly system, so you could make it as hot as you like
