I liked the location, staff and gym. The facilities need major refurb and maintenance.
Pros:

Staff are very friendly. You can see the original investment was there. The gym was a very good quality gym for a hotel.

Cons:

The hotel is dated and dirty with many facilities such as toilet seats etc especially in communal spaces broken. Hallways are not airconditioned and overall the whole hotel is not well looked after. It has the amenities, but they need to be repaired and maintained. My colleague had to downgrade his room for the same price as there was a leak. I had to request a bedding change because the bedding did not dry properly and had a foul wet smell. The breakfast was always the same with limited changes and variety. Basics were missing. Coffee was terrible.

Do not recommend it to foreigners at all
Pros:

Terrible. Room was very noise barely making it possible to get a bit of sleep (noise constant honking from street until about 2 AM). Addressed this to staff they ignored it several times.


The pool looks cool in photos but it is a tourist attraction that people from city go and take photos without actually staying at the hotel so it is crowded all the time I barely got any place to sit inside the water .

Floor is wet I slipped it is barely cleaned and looked after
A guy named Rahid was very helpful he took me photos

On top of that the breakfast was unreviewble, it was the weakest breakfast I ever had in Asia.

Just some rice and vegetables, no cokes no nothing.
Bangladesh has some pretty breathtaking sweets like those homey and cottage cheese filled balls you can get almost for free anywhere but they did not bother importing them instead they brought some dried out muffins.

Location is perfect & has some good facilities to keep you busy.
Pros:

The location was perfect. The rooftop & restaurant. The AC in the room was exactly what we needed.
The spa.

Cons:

The shower facility was awful. It was not useable & the shower facility in general was not good.
