I have booked rooms at My Place of Marquette at least four times in the past and they have never disappointed me. I love the concept! The rooms are very spacious and resemble miniature apartments. They come equipped with a small kitchen that includes a refrigerator/freezer, a stovetop, a microwave, and cabinets. The majority if not all of the rooms also have recliners. I truly feel like I'm at home when I stay here!

The housekeepers always do an amazing job. The rooms are always nice, clean, and comfortable.

They also have an outdoor pavilion if you want to grill food outside or just sit and enjoy the breeze.

The only insignificant downsides are that (1) they do not have a swimming pool; (2) breakfast does not come with your stay and you have to pay for it separately; and (3) they do not have ice machines in the hallways (the freezers in the rooms have ice makers). All of these, however, will not discourage me from staying again.

They are reasonably priced, and it's not bad at all for the money. When I booked my room through Expedia in May 2026, my total for a four-night stay was around $496 after taxes, which is $124 per night. That's pretty good!

I would certainly recommend staying here if you are traveling on a budget!

My choice for a hotel that is clean and also a reasonable rate.

You are always greeted by friendly staff and the hotel is clean and a great value.

Great beds
Pros:

Comfortable sheets, blankets, pillows. Love the recliner! Who else has this!

Cons:

When we first arrived the lobby smelled like pot and the hallway to our room. We were not offered complimentary waters. The front desk person over charged for food that was bought later.

Just ok. Prob would choose different hotel next time.
Pros:

The bed and linens were comfortable.

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t care for was walking into the overly air freshened room as if it was masking dirty garbage smell. Opened window to air it out but didn’t quite get rid of it. Maybe it came from hvac vent system but it was offensive.
