Overall, our stay at Limelight was lovely, the location is convenient to museums, great restaurants, Commons Park, and fun biking/running routes along the south platte river. The highlights of our stay were the tremendous customer service, complimentary bicycles, & our Chase perks! Thanks for a nice stay in Denver!
Cute place, too bad they prioritize form over function!
Pros:
Excellent location
Friendly staff
Cons:
Zero storage in rooms (not practical for more than one night).
Lukewarm coffee by 9am… cute dispenser, no insulation 😆

Great 3 night stay at Limelight Denver. Hotel amenities are great, location perfect. Staff were excellent during our stay. The room was great - comfy bed, lots of space, great amenities in room and nothing was an issue for the staff!! Will be back - found our new favorite place to stay in Denver.
close to our venue
Great amenities. Great facility. Perfect location for our stay.
a little pricey but would've stayed longer and will be looking for limelights in other areas!
The hotel is located nearby the station, making it easy to walk, commute. Room is clean and daily cleaning is included.
They charged $190 extra on check-in, $30 for each day * 3 = $90; plus $100 deposit. $30 was for anemnities -- basically gym. I paid over $1000 on the trip and the breakfast was not even included; I asked: Is it included? they said - no, but you can use $10 credits per day for food / room service. They charge $30 per day for useless facilities, and can't event give me a bun with fresh coffee in the morning. This was terrible experience, I highly not recommend staying here. I booked this hotel I saw 9.2 rating on Booking thinking it is something wonderful, but it was just a mediocre hotel. Don't go here, just don't. They don't even apologies for that experience, and Google Maps is full of similar reviews to mine, I have no idea how they did 9.2 rating on Booking, it is like a scam.
My daughter and I spent two nights at the Limelight in Denver. We had stayed in the Limelight Aspen last year and were looking forward to staying in Denver. We were totally spoiled by the Aspen stay, so that may have colored our experience. There was nothing wrong with the Denver property. The room was good size, bathroom very large and we had everything we needed.
The cons (for us). Arrived and the valet/bellman opened the door for us but didn't offer to help with luggage. This is a first. We wanted to get something to eat but arrived just after the kitchen had closed at the restaurant in the hotel. I thought they had a bar menu, but we were told all we could get was a drink. So, we did find a nearby restaurant that was still open.
We put out a Do Not Disturb sign but took it down when we left for breakfast. Our room was still not made up by the afternoon. I called the front desk, and they said that it's possible it wasn't made up because we had the sign out. They did send someone and she did a great job but didn't leave any additional toilet paper.
The location next to Union Station was very good. Check in and out was fast and efficient. The staff we came in contact with were pleasant, but not sure this is someplace we would stay again.
excellent friendly and courteous staff. convenient location, steps from union station. A++
Everything about the Limelight Hotel was Terrific! I truly enjoyed my stay!
Great location near the train station (cannot hear the trains), restaurants and bars. Next time I come here, I will forego the rental car since the hotel is within walking distance of many attractions.
Had problems with housekeeping - did not replace coffee or water cups. Left an ironing board expanded that would not collapse. Removed all the soap from the room and did not replace the bottles. Added a night - Saturday with Morgan Wallen in town and the charge was $800. The price was excessive for this place. About half would have been more appropriate.
Stayed here for quick trip to Avalanche playoff game. Location (right next to Union Station) and walking distance to Ball Arena makes it great. Quiet for downtown location and restaurant/bar on site is great. Room was very clean and love the wood-themed decor throughout.
World class service by the entire desk staff and valet. Special shout out for Dante.
Outstanding lovely hotel in the center of Denver - from beginning to end, it was a luxurious relaxing good time!
This is a nice and fancy hotel. They'll loan you an Audi! The room keys are wood! You can ask for a tea kettle for your room (a genuinely nice amenity). But the beds? The pillows? The two most important parts of a hotel? Horrible. Terrible. I'd avoid this place if you can.
