I would not stay here again on a return trip to Irvine.

Friendly staff. Clean. Good location.

I booked this property because I believed there was a full service restaurant. It only served breakfast which I did not need. I previously stayed in an AC hotel with a rooftop restaurant and lounge and I was expecting the same at this location.

The Parking fees were extremely high.

I would be happy to share quite a bit of comments about the design of the rooms.

Lighting is terrible. The shower was like a fire hose and no way to control the spray of water. I would prefer a closet to all of the bench space in the room.

Consistent Value
Pros:

Central location and close to a lot of eateries and shopping. Pulling in, valet service is upfront and the self park is in a parking garage across the way. Ticketing system is a bit wonky with needing to pull a ticket each time at the garage and then validating it with the valet. Check in was straightforward. Room was consistent with the AC Hotel brand, clean, modern, minimalistic, and fairly priced. During our stay it seemed some kind of sporting tournament was going on as there were a lot of families, but we did not notice any noise from the kids running around the halls. Gym was decently appointed with the pool right outside of the gym overlooking the business complex across the street. Always can count on AC Hotels delivering, and the Irvine location did just that.

Great stay and convienant
Pros:

This hotel is located near the John Wayne airport. My overall stay was very good, the staff was very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious with a comfortable bed. I had a relaxing stay and will be back.
