We had the best trip! The grounds are well kept and the service was amazing. Jai went above and beyond in his service making sure we were taken care of! Would highly recommended!
Our stay at the Loren was a clear four-star experience. We loved it, and will return. The pluses:
Delicious food, including the chef's night five-course dinner with wine pairings, Chef Nick Elmi.
A gorgeous room: large room, storage/bureaus/bedside/closet areas/bathroom with two sinks and the most sink counter experience I've ever experienced.
A large, partly shaded terrace overlooking plantings and the Atlantic ocean; it had two lounge chairs, a long couch, and a cocktail table. We relaxed and napped here, and it was completely tranquil listening to the ocean.
Lovely little pink sand beach, great for swimming.
Two pools, one a small kiddy type pool, the other a not-so-large adult pool, but very nicely appointed.
The staff at the Loren are so thoughtful and kind. When I complained about a noisy private event at the outdoor tented deck, the hotel manager, Juan, came down, helped my husband and I move our belongings to chairs farther away from the noise, and had the music turned down a bit. This is my only pet peeve at the Loren, the music at the event was very disruptive.
At the pool deck, Jai and the other staff were swift in setting up your chairs, bringing (and refreshing) your water, and taking and delivering food orders.
Minor quibbles: the gym is small and limited for a hotel at this price point. It was also a little hot in the gym. The wonderful hotel room bathroom lacked a good make-up mirror. The stand-alone mirror they had was large, but it did not have its own internal light.
While I was on vacation at the hotel, my husband was there for two days of business out of the five days we were there. The Loren also served a delicious business dinner on a private terrace for our group. Really wonderful. And to cap it all off, when our hired car did not show up to take us to the airport, a staff member's cousin showed up in his taxi to take us there.
The loren was amazing! Food was great and the staff at the pool was incredible. Highly recommend!
We experienced a fantastic vacation staying at The Loren at Pink Beach. The hotel is a beautiful property in a wonderful location. The rooms are very clean and modern and the pool and beach area are well maintained and very inviting. Most importantly all the staff were wonderful! Everyone there could not be more friendly and welcoming. In particular, Brittany the concierge, was incredibly helpful and generous with her time. Not only did she assist us with various reservations but her knowledge of the area enabled her to offer much valuable advice that truly made a huge difference in ensuring that we could optimize our time on the island. We would not hesitate to go back.
Beautiful property in the most perfect location. The Loren is the bridge, properly introducing guests to thr gorgeous pink sand beach and turquoise blue waters.
The Property didn't have much availability and our stay was limited to one night.
The Loren is absolutely beautiful and I really want to love it. However, each time I go, it breaks my heart a little as it always fails to be an enjoyable experience because of something weird that just shouldn't be done and could be easily fixed.
The first time was at the brunch. They came to our table once to take a drink order and never came back when those drinks were finished. Getting a waiters attention to order more was almost impossible for some reason so our table had one drink the entire brunch. If they do that for every table that's a lot of lost revenue. I was definitely ready to order more!
This last time I went was for a birthday dinner at the Jazz night. The setting is great, the food came out fast and was good. The music was good and it was nice to see locals performing.
However, they were playing so loud that I could barely hear the person right next to me and only if they screamed two inches from my ear. I could not talk without straining my voice. This is not an exaggeration. Someone at the table asked if it could be turned down a bit but I don't think the waiter could hear him ask because the music kept blaring (they might have turned it down half a decibel).
I had to scream at the top of my lungs multiple times to get the attention of the waiter because the music was so loud. Also, in multiple instances, when the waiter came to the table he took an order for one drink from a single person (it was for a glass of water in one instance) and basically sprinted off without looking around to see that the other end of the table was trying to get his attention to order at the same time. They only had one poor bartender for all the tables and the bar so the drinks were super slow to come out.
I may have it all wrong, but if they turned it down to a level that patrons can still chat to each other and be able to communicate with the waiter it would be a much better experience and I would actually make an effort to come back. If for some reason, the music needs to be loud enough to be heard in Dockyard, then the event should be held outside. It's an expensive way to have your hearing damaged.
The best part of the night was our interaction with the door man. He was a young Bermudian and helped us out with directions. It was so nice to see a pleasant young Bermudian working in hospitality. He was very knowledgeable and polite and it was so refreshing to be able to communicate easily with a person who is fluent in English and knows the island.
We had such an incredible experience here. It was so serene and the beach and pool are unreal. Rented a cabana by the pool which was amazing and Jai was the greatest! He was 10/10!!!
My wife and I arrived at a nice table facing the ocean on a very nice evening. Then the waiter/s started rushing us. Sparkling water, ready to order, want a drink from the bar? All in 20 seconds. The waiter who seated us, never returned and the next guy was no better. How big is the lobster, how many oysters in the app order and what was the catch of the day. He went 2/3. Food was good but hard to overcome the poor service. 17% service charge automatically… It’s not about the experience, it’s about the turns.
Too many better choices. I would avoid this place.
We had an amazing experience here! All staff had been truly wonderful. jai has been so nice for our poolside day, we had a few rainy days here and they are making our last Sunday wonderful. All staff in and out have been wonderful, we can’t wait to return
The beach and snorkeling:
- Beautiful private beach with good food service, excellent offshore snorkeling around the big rock and along the reef just beyond it. This was a highlight for me.
- Waves are too rough for kayaking or paddleboarding, I don't know why they even have those; Multiple people, including me, lost control of the kayak trying to launch it and needed to be 'rescued'.
Room:
- Beautiful room, with very spacious bathroom and a usable, fully furnished (a couch and chairs) and shaded balcony. Very quiet, we did not hear any noise from the hallway or neighbors. Comfy bed.
Food:
- All delicious, but the menus are limited. Service was mostly very good. A showstopper for me, though, is the eurotrash music piped into the dining room, with a thumping beat that fights with the sound of the waves. I cannot believe that anyone wants to hear this, and it made me not want to be in the dining room.
- Concierge team: all friendly and helpful but we were provided with mis-information multiple times and our dinner reservations were not recorded. Be forewarned to double and triple check things.
- Spa: lovely massages, but the sauna was not heated, even after I reminded them three times (twice via email, and once in person) that we planned to use it.
If it were not for the music in the dining room, I would definitely return. It is pricey, but I have not found this level of beauty and offshore snorkeling anywhere else, and the 2-hour direct flight really makes a difference in being able to get there for a short stay. If you want peace and tranquility, I cannot recommend the Loren. If you don't care, I say book it!
Amazing trip. The Loren accommodations and service were perfect. Especially poolside where Jai and the team went above and beyond. Definitely coming back soon!
This is a wonderful place to stay. It has a nice intimate feel to it, not too big. Customer service is wonderful. The food and cocktails are excellent. Jai, our "butler" at the pool, took especially good care of us ! Thank you Jai!
We had a great stay at the Loren hotel. What really made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional service. A huge, special shout-out to Jai! He was so sweet, incredibly attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our entire stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed to just relax and enjoy our time by the water.
Firstly, this hotel is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous, spacious and the view is stunning. The beach is also lovely, and very quiet. The service at the pool is exceptional. That is where good service ends unfortunately.
The restaurant was chaotic, service was sporadic and unfriendly. We often waited a long time for food. Bearing in mind a service charge of 20% is added to every bill. Ontop of this they include a charge for their "charity organisation". This charge, or charity, was not explained to us at check-in and is added to your nightly room charge, and every bill. This felt tacky and something you wouldn't see at the Rosewood for example.
The menu doesn't charge in the restaurant and it was overly expensive for portion size/quality.
We had an issue with credit card charges and they were dealt with pretty poorly by reception staff.
Overall, definitely wouldn't return as the negatives outweigh the positives, especially for the price. Other than the service poolside, you would expect better from a 5 star hotel. Staying at the Rosewood after the Loren further showed the gap in quality of the Loren.
We have been visiting Bermuda for over 40 years as a couple and with our family- we have stayed at just about every 5 star hotel on island- this was our first stay at The Loren as we had stayed at the original Pink Beach Club for our honeymoon 30 years ago! Well it’s surely not the classic Bermuda resort with in-villa breakfast prep and pink buildings, but it has its own new identity and high end appeal for other reasons. It feels private and small and it’s casually elegant- every room has a spectacular oversized terrace or balcony, every one with the same amazing view of the Atlantic! The rooms are modern but cozy- my only criticisms would be no small carpet in our bathroom and carpet in main room had bad stains- the bathroom is beautiful and large but needs a better fan- and the XXL floor mirrors in the main room are too much and need to go- bed mattress and bed linens surely not of Four Seasons status but ok. Bed could use a heavier comforter. These are minor things as everything else- food, service, cleanliness, waterfront, valet staff, concierge, front desk, landscaping all FANTASTIC!! Special thank you to Lou at the front desk and Seth on valet! Also the young man who greeted me every morning at 8 AM to set our beach chairs-he was such a pleasure! We loved the resort overall and will be back for sure!!! It’s got a great relaxing vibe with high end service and accommodations sitting on the edge of the beautiful pink beach!
Thank you to Loren Hotel in Bermuda for a memorable stay for my son and me. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view. I felt safe and well cared for by your staff. The food was excellent. You provide a very clean, calm, and relaxing atmosphere. I love the beach and the rugged beauty of your property. We hope to see you again.
I stayed at The Loren at Pink Beach this past weekend, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. To my surprise, they upgraded me to a two‑bedroom suite, and it completely elevated my stay. The suite was spacious, beautifully designed, and offered stunning views that made every moment feel luxurious.
The attention to detail throughout the property is unmatched — from the modern, elegant décor to the serene atmosphere that instantly puts you at ease. The service was consistently warm, attentive, and genuine. Every interaction felt personal, and the team went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect.
The Loren strikes the ideal balance between luxury and comfort and I look forward to returning. Special thanks to the front desk manager Cherita and Dirk Beck, you guys were amazing!
See you in the summer (fingers crossed)
We were only able to spend two nights at The Loren, but it was absolutely lovely. We adored the intimate boutique feel- modern, yet warm and cozy at the same time. The food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. We reserved a standard king oceanfront room, and it was perfect. One of my favorite moments was sitting on the spacious balcony each morning, reading The Royal Gazette while sipping an espresso and listening to the waves.
Santana at the pool took incredible care of us. We never had an empty glass of water or cocktail, and he always greeted us with a smile. Jomar, Joe, and Shay were equally attentive and kind, always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay special.
The beach truly is pink sand! Stunning in every way. Even with passing rain showers throughout the day, we embraced every moment and made it magical, even enjoying the sauna at the spa.
We were also incredibly fortunate to experience a Grammy Award–winning pianist at the hotel all weekend. Sharu was simply extraordinary. Her music moved me to tears, it was that beautiful.
From the freezing temperatures in New Jersey to this warm, dreamy escape, it was a magical weekend. We cannot wait to return.
I wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for making my birthday weekend so incredibly special. From the room accommodations to the wonderful birthday gift left for me, the champagne was such a lovely surprise. My dinner went off flawlessly and everyone said they had a great time. I also realized some of my guests had never visited before, which made the experience even more memorable for them.
Your staff was amazing throughout. Perry did a fantastic job at the bar, and my cake was absolutely delicious — it truly exceeded expectations. I don’t know how many times I can say thank you, but please know how much I appreciated everything.
We just returned from 7 nights at The Loren. Everything was so perfect. The staff, views, food and service were top notch. Big thanks to Myra for being the wonderful person she is. Loved it all.
