Waited 2 hours because room was being cleaned then when it was ready it was not cleaned.. oven was left open with a dirty pain with old food still on it.. trash on the floors.. empty water bottles on balcony.. dirty towels behind the bathroom door… food crumbs all over the couch.

The young lady that checked me in was not friendly and really didn’t seem concerned by anything. A guest in room 324 came to her to tell her that there was water pouring down from the ceiling in his bathroom and she barely acknowledged him with “ok”. No I’ll send someone over, nothing but “ok”!?!?!? The hotel was not clean. Upon arrival, the kitchen trash can had been emptied but had a horrible odor permeating from it. When I moved the trash bag I saw old garbage and some kind of chunky liquid inside. Clearly someone took out the trash and just threw another bag in there without cleaning the can. There were cockroaches in the room (I have pictures) and everything needed a deep clean. The towels needed bleach and the floors were also dirty. There were missing fire extinguishers on my floor. Parking is included. However, they also allow the public to pay for parking in their lot and don’t save ANY parking spots for the customers that are paying to stay there. I ended up in a dirt lot across the street because there was not enough parking in the evening. The exit signs are rusted and barely hanging on. None of the outside showers to rinse sand off from the beach work. The light in the pool has fallen out of its fixture and has wires dangling from it in the pool with the fixture open. Someone is likely to get electrocuted from that if it gets knocked around. I have more photos but booking only lets me post 20.

Pros:

The staff was so friendly and helpful. Check-in was fast and efficient. The room was clean, and the location was at a great place. This was our first time staying here, but it won't be our last.
