Modern, clean, relaxed and stylish

Everything, it was truly extraordinary. The staff make everything happen you could think of and serve you with warmth and a sweet smile.
Overall really great stay. Overall a small boutique hotel with a personal touch compared to larger hotel chains. We were surprised by the service we received, we got a huge flower bouquet on our arrival. Location was good, lots of restaurants nearby and easy grab ride around town. The room was large enough with a Jacuzzi outdoors. The breakfast buffet was good and afternoon tea had enough options for a late lunch which was great. The fitness center was basic but at least exists for quick exercise and the pool at the roof was great. The staff was very responsive and quick to act on things we asked for via chat.
Just some minor things which were quickly resolved via chat but shouldn't be things we have to deal with from a 5 star hotel: room service inconsistencies (missing replacement water, coffee, towel etc depending on the day and room service coming at the wrong times even though we specified), bird poop and cockroach in the outdoor jacuzzi.

The windows were not soundproof so the midday traffic noise was very loud. On the weekends it was quieter and most evenings were ok.

This landmark hotel is for those who appreciate local heritage and accommodation design. Each room is adorned with artistic elements, colours and plants to create a serene atmosphere. The food and beverage options are diverse and the outdoor jacuzzi is a destination in itself. This is not a boring, standard white box hotel.
