2 free drinks, breakfast, proper coffee in the room, water available, real milk in a glass bottle, pillow spray! The staff were LOVELY.
One shower head didn’t work and it was a little noisy in the morning from traffic.
Neither thing would put me off coming back though!
Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was a blessing on such a hot day, but it did turn off overnight so I had to get up and turn it back on again.The dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The TV in my room didn't have a remote control, so could only be operated by buttons on the side of the TV. A lot of the channels didn't work and I couldn't connect it to my phone to watch Netflix.
Stylish old pub/inn
Comfortable beds and squeaky clean bathrooms. Nice restaurant and outdoor dining area. Easy access to tube station.
The room was so beautiful. I booked it for my Mum’s birthday and she was blown away. The breakfast and service were wonderful and the hotel couldn’t do any more to make our stay better!

Great location in a historic pub

It was in a great location for Brixton academy. We like using public transport and walking in London so it was perfect. Friendly staff. Easy to use. Good food. We had breakfast and it was lovely and most welcome. Only a one night stay but it was perfect.

That it had everything you needed for a great night's stay. The air con was such a plus and the complimentary tea coffee and water was such a bonus. It was so quirky but brilliantly put together. Staff were lovely and very friendly and it was literally a few minutes walk from the train station and Brokwell Park.
If I had to be pushed to say what we didn't like, then it would be the fact there was no lifts so carrying luggage up the stairs was a minor inconvenience but one of which we could deal with.
Rooms are very spacious, great location (next to train station), very good breakfast
