That it had everything you needed for a great night's stay. The air con was such a plus and the complimentary tea coffee and water was such a bonus. It was so quirky but brilliantly put together. Staff were lovely and very friendly and it was literally a few minutes walk from the train station and Brokwell Park.
If I had to be pushed to say what we didn't like, then it would be the fact there was no lifts so carrying luggage up the stairs was a minor inconvenience but one of which we could deal with.
The historic charm, the amenities, all the attention to detail and thought that went into making it a great stay!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and a good choice of good quality food. Rooms were beautiful. Close to the Thameslink so easy to get to.
The outside gate wasn't locked after 11, there was an inside door that was locked but would have been nice to have the extra security
