Pros:

The hotel was clean, staff very happy and helpful and had a nice atmosphere

Cons:

My room was a single on the 3rd floor. Only one plug socket and none by the bed. The bed was pushed against the wall and I kept hitting the wall in the night. Room was very small. Right by the lift so very noisy throughout the night. Not the best night's sleep

A mixed bag very dependent on room your put in and staff that engage with you.
Pros:

Location to Winter Gardens is excellent.

Some of the staff were very friendly.

Cons:

The variation in quality and size of rooms is vast. Be very wary of being put in a room in close proximity to the “Cabaret/Entertainment” as it goes on until 2330 EVERY night.

Some of the staff are extremely rude and arrogant in their manner. Care for the guest is very low on their priority.

GMB CONGRESS STAY AT THE RUSKIN BLACKPOOL
Pros:

I stay at the hotel from the 5th of June until the 11th of June my room was very comfortable I had a nice double bed a nice ensuite bathroom and I requested a mini fridge and I got one to put my medication in there was tea and coffee in the room the view was not great but I wasn't there to capture any views so that was okay, generally a very good stay and the staff were really really nice.

Brilliant hotel
Pros:

Ideal Base for my Union Congress at the Winter Gardens. The staff are so friendly and obliging nothing too much trouble, fun entertainment in the evening. Room more than adequate not much of a view but only used it for sleeping. Food good value for money, breakfast was superb. Only the seagulls disturbed me but couldn't blame the hotel for that.

Excellent stay
Pros:

What a lovely hotel. Staff were attentive, polite and efficient so couldn’t ask for more.

On our stay we enjoyed breakfast which was plentiful and we ordered toast and tea/coffee at the table. We had drinks from the bar and meals in the evening and the food was delicious, reasonably priced and again staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was comfortable and more than adequate and a special mention to the cleaning staff who daily cleaned, remade the bed, replenished tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits which helped make our stay special.
