Tryly wonderful and relaxing stay, beautiful getaway in Friuli!
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Chiopris. The surroundings are beautiful, peaceful and tranquil, the perfect place to relax and enjoy slow tourism. Our family stayed both in double hotel room and two-bedroom apartment, and both were comfortable. The apartmrnt is well equipped for cooking (although we didn't use kitchen ourselves) and has a large fridge, which was great for keeping drinks cold during the hot summer days. The pool area is lovely and especially enjoyable on hot afternoons. I would also highlight the breakfast, it was fresh, abundant and absolutely delicious. Villa is comfortably located for exploring nearby villages and beaches. A very special thank to Giulia, who took wonderful care of us. She kindly helped us with restaurant bookings and made sure erverything was perfect.

A quiet and relaxing oasis in Friuli with easy access to great food, excursions and excellent base for avid road cyclist
Pros:

This is our 3rd visit. We are always greeted with a warm welcome and the staff are quick to help and make you feel at home. The honesty system for wine makes it easy to sample the Livon offerings. The pool area is an oasis!

Cons:

The a/c doesn’t cope with summer heat sadly which makes for uncomfortable nights (despite fans). The WiFi in the apartments is not strong and only good in the main area.

Beautiful villa in a peaceful setting
Pros:

We stayed in a lovely, spacious room in a beautiful historic villa that once belonged to the Hausbrandt family. The villa is now owned by the Livon winemaking family, and guests can enjoy a wine tasting and purchase their excellent wines. The surroundings are very peaceful, with a charming garden that makes the stay especially relaxing. Palmanova and several restaurants are about a 10-minute drive away.

The manager was extremely kind and gave us many excellent restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was delicious, carefully prepared, and beautifully presented. We had a wonderful stay and would gladly return.
