I'm traveling through Southeast Asia and I review the hotels I stay at so other travelers know what to expect.  I receive no pay ir special benefits from any hotel I stay at.  Hence, my review can be trusted.



After two weeks at the White Sands Hotel in Da Nang, I can say without hesitation: this stay outshined even 5-star properties I'd stayed at — not in luxury, but in something more valuable: genuine friendliness & hospitality.



First Impressions

The hotel isn't directly on the beach — it's about a two-block walk to the Sands of Da Nang Beach — but that was the only downside I found, that I had to walk through vibrant Vietnam streets and past various seafood restaurants & shops.



From the moment I arrived, I was struck by the warmth of the staff.  For instance, an older gentleman who tends the hotel's flowers and plants every day greeted me with a smile and helped with my bags before I'd even reached the front desk. The reception team was just as kind, getting me settled quickly and without any fuss (special mention goes to Eddie & Ellie, who go above and beyond in their hospitality [I call them my new friends]).



The Room

My room had an ocean view, and watching the sunrise from it each morning was spectacular. It was clean and comfortable, and I mean genuinely comfortable — the bed made a real difference to how well I slept every night.



Breakfast

Breakfast was a daily highlight. It wasn't as extravagant as the 5-star spreads I've experienced before, but it didn't need to be — the selections were fresh, healthy, and varied, with a nice rotation of fruit, hot dishes, and good coffee every morning. The best part: instead of the typical buffet-and-serve-yourself setup, the kitchen staff actually cooked eggs to order and brought the food to the table afterward.

Very clean, accessible property. Staff, namely Bryan and Sun, were especially friendly as well.

Convenient location, great staff — everyone was very helpful and attentive. Arranging the airport taxi was a great touch too.

Freshly renovated hotel in central beach location. Receptionist (Ellie and Sun) were a delight to assist with everything. Really good value

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is excellent, just a short walk from the beach. The room was comfortable, and the bed, pillows, and linens were all very clean, making it easy to relax.

The reception staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Special thanks to Cường, Sơn, and the two female receptionists for their warm hospitality and outstanding service. They made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

I highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning a trip to Da Nang. I would definitely stay here again!

Tout était parfait. Je recommande cet établissement conforme à la description. Tout était propre et fonctionnel. Le petit déjeuner est varié et change chaque jour.

Khách sạn phòng rộng thoáng, sạch sẽ. Các chị lễ tân Thư và Dương nhiệt tình, dễ thương. Từ khách sạn đi bộ ra biển cũng gần.
