• The only positive aspect of this hotel is its good location.
Standard & Service: The decor and overall service come nowhere close to justifying a 5-star rating.
• Breakfast: Extremely poor and basic. It is unacceptable that only one person is handling the service for the entire breakfast area. I highly recommend skipping it and eating at one of the nearby bars instead.
• Room & Privacy: Even though we requested a larger room, it was still very small. The biggest flaw is the open-concept bathroom, meaning you have absolutely zero privacy.
• Soundproofing: Terrible. You can literally hear every single person walking down the hallway or talking in the adjacent room.
• Pool: What they advertise as a pool is actually just a slightly oversized, and very dirty, bathtub. The entire pool area is completely useless and poorly maintained.
• Technology: It is 2026, and in a self-proclaimed 5-star hotel, the TV doesn't even have a YouTube app. This speaks volumes about their lack of modern standards and care for guest comfort.
Conclusion: I definitely do not recommend this place. For the price and the advertised luxury, the service and accommodations must be on a drastically higher level

Fui roubada enquanto eu fazia o check in, dentro do hotel. Isso foi verificado pelas câmeras de segurança do hotel, depois de irmos até a delegacia fazer um BO. Não não pediram sequer desculpas. E ainda temos o prejuízo de comprar de volta o que foi perdido -- um computador portátil, uma mala bastante cara, um casaco de inverno, entre outras coisas.

Location
The smell of sewage. We initially checked into one room and when we complained about the smell of sewers we were moved to another room. Later that day the same smell appeared in our second room. Definite problem with their sewage system.
Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Mehrere Lokale waren ganz in der Nähe des Hotels. Der Parkplatz war gut zu erreichen und war auch ausreichend gross.
Das Hotel hatte keine zu öffnenden Fenster. Der Straßenlärm war deutlich zu hören. Ausserdem war die U-Bahn die wohl unter dem Hotel fuhr nachts sehr störend. Deutsche Fernsehsender gab es nur 1 und der war unbedeutend. Ich würde das Hotel nicht wieder buchen.

The stay at Eurostars Barcelona Central was truly excellent. The location is perfect—very central and within walking distance of major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was modern, spacious, and spotlessly clean, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep.
Honestly, very little to complain about. If anything, the breakfast area could get slightly busy during peak hours, and the price for it can be revised, in particular if compared to the offer the city provides outside. But the quality of the food and service more than made up for it.
