Amazing family holiday to celebrate special birthday,
Pros:

Loved the overall atmosphere of the building, its history and the attentiveness of the staff. the rooms were super clean and very beautiful.

Cons:

One of our cosy rooms lacked a coffee machine - which was missed and harder pillows were needed. We were allocated a disabled room - which was very nice - but the sink was very low in the bathroom. But it was still beautiful.

An enjoyable stay with fantastic service.
Pros:

Fantastic staff. Great location. We had an amazing view of the Shard from our bedroom which was a lovely surprise. The desi breakfast option was a pleasant surprise and very delicious. The building is full of character. The heated toilets/bidet was a revelation!

Cons:

If you're looking for something different and a building with character/history, then The Lalit is a great place to stay. If you want something modern and luxurious with all the latest gadgets then I wouldn't recommend.

Beautiful space.
Pros:

Everything. 10 mins from London Bridge station. It’s a converted grammar school and beautiful inside. Room space was decent. Bathroom had underfloor heating. The space was beautiful.

Cons:

The shower flooded a bit and I wish the room had a desk. But I would still recommend the hotel.

Lovely looking hotel in a good location but doesn’t live up to expectations
Pros:

First visited this hotel when a friend from overseas was staying here; the staff were friendly, both the room and bathroom was a good size. It was also a lovely touch to be brought a delicious chocolate cake and a fruit platter as a gift from the hotel as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary :)

Cons:

Some of the staff were a tad lacklustre.
We waited quite a while to get our drinks bill when we decided to have a quick drink in the headmasters room.
We waited an inordinate amount of time for an iron and ironing Board - these are not in the room and have to be requested. The telephone in the bedroom didn’t work but luckily, there was a handset on the bathroom, so we used that. After waiting over 15 minutes, we rang again. After another 5-7 minutes - we were getting ready to go for a meal at the Lucky Cat - my husband ended up going in search of an iron and board himself. He found the maid ambling in the corridor, obviously not in a rush. (I will also add that the iron and board were very flimsy).

Cons:

Es war dunkel, hat irgendwie gerochen. Die Ausstattung war alt am Eingang verwelkte Blumeneintopf , völlig vertrocknet. Man hat den Eingang kaum gefunden so schäbig sah er von außen aus. Also für mich persönlich geht gar nicht. Als ich es dann nicht mehr wollte und in ein anderes Hotel umziehen wollte, wurde mir nicht mal die Nacht erstattet, obwohl ich morgens um acht schon da war.
